TAMARACK POTTERY

Pottery quickly changed from a hobby to a passion several years ago while taking classes at Roberson Clayworks in Upstate, NY. I continue to grow and learn as one of the studio assistants. My education in commercial art and current profession in digital printing are reflected in the graphic nature of the designs that decorate my pottery... I mostly make functional, decorated pottery and use the surface of the clay as my canvas. Some of my inspiration comes from nature with trees, leaves and the sun frequently appearing. Celtic designs also fascinate me with their intertwining, flowing lines.
