Established in 2016, AQASS is a specialist consultancy and research company. Our core team has over 40 years' experience in water environments and related data analysis and management. AQASS benefits from academic, commercial and conservation experience and team members hold Visiting Researcher status at the Russel Group University of Southampton (UK). This brings research led robustness towards well informed decisions in aquatic system and water management, enhancement and care... AQASS was founded by co-directors Drs Simon Bray and Ilse Steyl in 2016. Combined they have almost half a century of experience in consultancy, research and education in marine, estuarine and freshwater systems... To compliment AQASS, we are partnered with SAND Seabed And Near-surface Detection who provide geophysical survey support and consultancy, specialising in shallow, high-resolution marine geophysical data acquisition and processing.
