Bliss Aviation, formerly Bournemouth Helicopters was established in June 1994 by Gary Ellson who, following a career in the Coastguard Agency, came for a trial lesson which led to not only his gaining a helicopter licence, but also the ownership of a training school... Bliss Aviation is located at Bournemouth Airport in Aviation Park West, with it's sister company Bournemouth Handling. We provide a unique flight training environment with exceptional facilities that include one to one classrooms, a student study and planning lounge, customs and handling, and a coffee shop. Uniquely, we are the only training school with a refueling vehicle, so there are no delays when you fly with us.
