Hector Perez is the founder and Executive Director of Asiel Chaplain Services. For the past twenty-five years, Hector Perez has ministered to tens of thousands of people in different settings. As a licensed and ordained minister with a M.A. in Theology and Biblical Studies, he founded and pastored Freedom House Ministries. As a Certified Chaplain, he has worked as a hospital Chaplain and a hospice Chaplain. As a Texas Department of Criminal Justice Chaplaincy Volunteer, he has ministered in jails and prisons across the state of Texas. As a Licensed Prisoner Re-Entry Crisis Counselor, he founded Cell Block To City Block a prison ministry and prison re-entry program for men and women coming out of prison. He is also a Board-Certified Restorative Therapist in areas of marriage, family, substance abuse, anger and stress management, and grief counseling. Hector is also a published author, having written a book entitled, From Bound To Found- Finding True Freedom and Restoration in Life. Hector and his wife Hope, have been married for twenty five years and together the have six children, fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
