Fiona has worked as an occupational therapist within the NHS for over 20 years. She has developed specialist knowledge and skills in providing services for adults and older people. In 2005 she was awarded an MSC in Gerontology which is the study of old age, the process of aging, and the particular problems which older people can face. Fiona's list of specialist expertise includes adults whose lives are affected by Dementia, the ageing process, poor memory, arthritis, falls, joint replacement, bone fractures, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington's, equipment to support independence, 24 hour postural management, specialist seating.
