I was born in Cirencester and have lived in and around the area until making Rodmarton my home with Peter and our four children in 2000. I have been a classroom assistant at Rodmarton School since 2002 and have thoroughly enjoyed my role of supporting children of all age groups during this time. I feel personally enriched to be in such a position to be part of our children's growth and development as they journey through our school. When I am not at working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, pets, eating out and village life.

I started teaching in 2015 and, in that time, have worked mostly with children in Key Stage 2. Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a childcare assistant in a small childcare setting. From a young age I knew I wanted to work with children and I feel very lucky that I get to do what I do. My husband and I, along with our 2 year old son, recently moved back to Gloucestershire from South Warwickshire to be nearer our families. We're delighted to be living back in the countryside with so many beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. I am an avid reader and love discussing books with others. If ever you can't find me, I'll probably be curled up somewhere with a cup of tea and my nose in a book!

I have been a teacher for 12 years and have lived and worked locally all my life. I started my teaching career at Rodmarton School and worked in Year groups 2, 3,4, 5 and 6 before moving schools and becoming part time in order to help diversify my husband's farming business. Working back at Rodmarton is a real treat and I'm delighted to be focusing on PE across the school. I love being active and recently joined my local hockey club. I have a keen interest in the countryside and the environment and feel very lucky that my work and home life provide me with the opportunity to enjoy them both.
