Anneleen started her career at The Boston Consulting Group working on a wide range of engagements from strategic reviews, to organizational design and transformation projects in the Finance, IT, Healthcare and Consumer Goods industry primarily in Belgium. She then moved to Bose where she occupied several positions. As Strategic Project Manager she worked on strategy assignments across a variety of functions. More specifically, she designed & implemented a new distribution strategy and organizational model for the European organization. Then, she managed the new business development business unit in Europe and led a global redesign of the customer service model including the reorganization of the sales teams with a customer-prime focus. Finally, Anneleen headed up the Asia-Pacific wholesale business (expat in Tokyo).

Bart Elema is Partner, Chief Financial Officer and Risk Officer. Bart manages the Central Services team - supporting the entire Waterland group - out of Bussum, the Netherlands and has been with the firm since 2003. Bart is a member of the Remuneration Committee, the Valuation Committee, the Audit Committee and the ESG Committee.
Before joining Waterland, Bart spent 8 years at ATC Corporate Services (now Intertrust Group) in various roles, most recently as proxy holder and member of the management team in Amsterdam. Prior to that, Bart worked at ABN AMRO Bank and Heineken. In 2015 he was elected as Board Member of the NVP (the Dutch industry organization of private equity and venture capital); from 2010-2014 he was a member of the Tax Committee of the NVP.
