Randy Wells

Randy moved to Spartanburg in 1973 upon graduation from Newberry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He was employed by the Internal Revenue Service for five years as an Internal Revenue Agent. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and has eighteen years experience in public accounting. Before joining John A. McArthur, Jr. to form Wells & Associates, CPA, LLC, he served as treasurer of Pulliam Investment Co., Inc., a multimillion-dollar real estate development, and management company, employing approximately eighty people. While at Pulliam, he not only supervised the day to day financing and accounting of the company but also structured the financing and start-up of all new developments. Randy served eight years on the Spartanburg City Planning Commission, serving three years as the commission's Vice Chairman. He is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. He is active with the Boy Scouts of America and has served in numerous capacities over the past 40+ years, currently serving as an Associate Advisor to American Indian Affairs, Skyuka Lodge. He has been awarded the Palmetto Award, the Vigil Honor, the Founder's Award and the Silver Beaver Award; four of the highest honors awarded by the Boy Scouts of America. Randy and his wife, Jane, are members of First Presbyterian Church.
