Responsible for the organization and co-ordination of office operations related to payroll, invoicing, medical & dental benefits, 401k, vacations, AR & AP and reports. Applies procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Assists the president and vice president of marketing, business development, financial control, and technical production. Gisella holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from The Ohio State University.
In 2012 and 2013, DHDC performed soil borings and submitted a Geotechnical Subsurface Investigation Report for a proposed storm sewer casing under CSX RR along Trabue Road; In 2016, DHDC performed soil borings for Thoburn Road Improvements following ODOT Geotechnical Procedures. Savvas Sophocleous was our main point of contact at DHDC. Savvas' reports for both projects were complete, accurate, and delivered early. He was always quick to respond to questions and requests, and he provided very good service! The fees DHDC charged were reasonable and fair. Mr. Haque has 20 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, field quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) and Subsurface Utilities Engineering (SUE) for construction projects. Mr. Haque is the senior project engineer and manages all the engineering and construction materials testing (CMT) projects including overall management from proposal stage to the completion of the projects. Mr. Haque perform numerous engineering analysis including bearing capacity and settlement calculations for deep and shallow foundations, design and analysis of laterally loaded piles, retaining structures, rigid and flexible pavements, slope stability analysis; prepared geotechnical engineering reports based on field and laboratory analysis, field quality control during installation of shallow and deep foundations, supervised and monitored construction and materials testing projects, supervised materials testing technicians and laboratory, analyzed laboratory test results, trained personnel for construction materials testing and special inspections. Haque holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Responsible for all field operations for all DHDC offices. Mike works closely with engineers to prepare project bids, meet deadlines, and address issues in the field. He excels in troubleshooting problems and ensures that the scope of work complies with the project specifications. Additionally, Mike is responsible for ensuring that the laboratory follows ASTM procedures and complies with AMRL and CCRL standards. His experience in Field Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) enables him to develop a testing/inspection program for on time schedules and budgets. Mike holds a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management from the University of Akron.
Savvas Sophocleous has more than 15 years of experience in geotechnical investigation, subsurface utilities engineering (SUE), testing & inspections, environmental assessments for the construction of commercial and residential project, highways, airports, hospitals and infrastructures. Savvas capabilities include assisting the president on overseeing the management, marketing, business development, financial control, and technical production to produce a technically competent organization. He formulates policies, develops relationships with prospective and current clients, implements strategic plans, and provides strong leadership skills. He holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University.
