ALICE BILLEREY

Alice is a Yoga Teacher and registered Yoga Therapist, having completed over 900 hours of training. Alice teaches yoga according to the 8-fold path which includes movement (asana), breath-work (pranayama), the practice of withdrawing from the scenes (pratyahara) and meditation (Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi). Through yoga Alice has developed a loving and more compassionate relationship with herself, which in turn has made her more available to support those around her. She's learnt to reflect upon her habitual patterns (samskaras) and how they manifest in her body and mind. Alice believes yoga is for everybody and encourages all students to work mindfully on the mat, with the aim of helping people to find a deeper listening and understanding of themselves.

ANNIE NICHOLSON

ANNIE NICHOLSON TRAUMA AND LOSS FACILITATOR The Fandangoe Kid is a London based print artist who makes large-scale narrative-driven pieces for the public realm. Her work seeks to smash taboos around complex subject matters such as loss, trauma release, mental health and gender constructs. During lockdown, The Fandangoe Kid redesigned nurse's scrubs for Marie Curie x NHS London, working with a palliative care nurse via Zoom to develop the uniform, celebrating International Year of the Nurse, 2020. The artist's work was shot for a feature about grief and mental health for Channel 4, looking at the importance of her practice in 2020. The Fandangoe Kid has recently completed a large scale mural for YouTube for World Mental Health Day 2020, alongside a large scale digital piece for Sadiq Khan's charity Thrive, looking at resilience. Much of the artist's work is driven by navigating her own story, following the loss of many individuals in her family back in 2011, her practice being largely underpinned by the will to create a platform for open dialogue around the still taboo subject of grief.

BRIDGETTE WILSON

Post-Doctoral Research Associate, King's College London. Dr Bridgette Wilson PhD RD completed her MSc in molecular biology and functional genomics at Ag Research, New Zealand, investigating the genetic cascade involved in skeletal muscle wasting conditions. Bridgette has always been passionate about food and left Science to work as a Chef in France and London for a number of years before returning to study to become a registered Dietitian in the UK. Bridgette worked in a large London NHS Trust before again returning to study for her PhD at King's College London. Bridgette's award-winning PhD investigated the effects of fibre in gastrointestinal disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, and further studied the effect of fibre on gut inflammation. Bridgette has published a number of peer reviewed journal articles on diet and gut health and is one of the lead Consultant Dietitians at The Gut Health Clinic in the Harley St Precinct, London. Bridgette continues to lead research into fibre interventions in functional gut disorders at King's College London.

He went on to complete a tenure working at one of Europe's most highly respected institutions, King's College Hospital in London, where he continues to work on a part-time basis. Currently, he divides non-clinical time among creative and business endeavours. DR GEMMA MCCORMICK

Dr Gemma McCormick is a doctor specialising in oncology (the treatment of cancer), currently working at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Cambridge before continuing her clinical studies at Kings College London. She uses radiotherapy, chemotherapy and novel drug therapies in the treatment of a wide range of cancer types. Dr McCormick aims to improve patient outcomes and therapies through her involvement in cutting edge cancer research. Her experience of managing patients with cancer has led her to be particularly interested in health education, advising how to reduce risk of developing cancer and improve early diagnosis rates. Outside of medicine Gemma enjoys cycling and running. She is a keen traveller, particularly to go wildlife watching or to spectate the Irish rugby team.

Dr Hazel Harrison

Dr Nadia Amokrane is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist working in a South London hospital. She completed her medical degree at the University of Bristol and continued her medical training in ‘obs and gynae' in London. Dr Amokrane enjoys the great variety her job offers; working with pregnant women antenatally and looking after them during labour and birth and also caring for patients with different gynaecological problems such as period problems, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain and menopausal symptoms. Her career path has led her to be an advocate in women's health and she is particularly interested in empowering women to take care of their sexual and reproductive health. Sophie Bostock, PhD, is a health psychologist turned Sleep Evangelist. Following degrees in medicine and entrepreneurship, she completed a PhD at UCL in the field of Psychobiology, focusing on the interactions between work stress, wellbeing and heart disease. This led to an interest in sleep as one of the unsung heroes of health and performance.Sophie has conducted a number of research trials in corporate settings, exploring the impact of sleep improvement and mindfulness on productivity and wellbeing. She spent two years an NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellowship to help promote digital sleep medicine in the NHS. Sophie also works as UK Innovation Lead at Big Health, the digital medicine company, and as a performance coach at CHX Performance. Dr. Bernadette Dancy

KEMI OMIJEH BACP REGISTERED THERAPIST I have been working with children and families my entire career and specifically as a Therapist for over a decade. I work predominantly with schools and in the private sector. I am also an experienced Mental Health Trainer, delivering workshops and training on a range of mental health topics. This is one of the aspects of my job I really enjoy because I am passionate about normalising talking about mental health and promoting ways to improve mental health because I really believe there is no health without good mental health.
