I completed my undergraduate education at Brown University, medical school at Vanderbilt University, adult psychiatry residency at the University of Washington, and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Seattle Children's Hospital/University of Washington. I am a graduate of the child and adult psychoanalytic training programs at the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
