Dr. David Loewy

Dr. David Loewy has more than 30 years of opthalmology experience. He graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Michigan, and completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Dr. Loewy completed his Ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and American Board of Eye Surgeons. He is a member of a number of associations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Eye Surgery and the American College of Eye Surgeons. Dr. Loewy grew up in Southeast Michigan the oldest of three siblings. He currently resides with his wife Debbie in Winter Haven. His two adult children are also pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields. His nonprofessional interests include snow skiing, water skiing, boating, fishing, fitness training and travel. He is an alum and rabid fan of the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!!

Dr. David Misch

Dr. David Misch, MD is a highly-regarded ophthalmologist, certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He harbors a keen interest in conditions like macular holes, macular puckers, macular degeneration, and is adept in intraocular lens repositioning surgery. Dr. Misch's academic journey began at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and distinguished himself on the Dean's List. He further completed his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. In addition, Dr. Misch holds an MBA from the University of South Florida, demonstrating his multifaceted capabilities. In his early career, Dr. Misch served as the Chief Resident at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine/Mayo Clinic. He has two years of private practice experience at the Florida Retina Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, and a substantial tenure of 31 years at the Center for Retina and Macular Disease in Winter Haven, Florida. He now practices at the Retina Partners of Florida. Dr. Misch maintains active memberships in several prestigious medical organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), and the Polk County Medical Society. His affiliations extend to the Florida Society of Ophthalmology and the American College of Physician Executives. Outside of his demanding career, Dr. Misch leads an active life alongside his wife, Debora. The couple resides in Bartow, Florida, and participates in various community activities. They are proud parents of three adult children. In his leisure time, Dr. Misch enjoys bicycling and is an accomplished sailplane pilot.
