GIVING TREE SENIOR CARE OPTIONS - Key Persons

M. Angelique Knoblock

A veteran of the healthcare industry, Angelique Knoblock began her career in Home Health, assuming the role of Director of Nurses. She would go on to become an Administrator for Home Health and Hospice for St. Tammany Hospital - a position she held for over 20 years. The rare combination of her educational background in both business administration and nursing and decades of leadership in healthcare, as well as her compassion for the elderly, led her to strike out on her own and start a care management business in Bay St. Louis in 2014. Her services were so well-received she eventually outgrew her initial operation. Once relocated in Diamondhead, her business evolved into what is now Giving Tree Senior Care Options, which is celebrating its 5th Anniversary in Diamondhead on March 25, 2019. According to her coworkers at Giving Tree, the secrets to its success are threefold - commitment to excellence and high standards, making a difference for patients and treating employees with kindness, and finding inspiration in Knoblock's leadership. "It's great to be a part of Giving Tree," said Cheryl Tasker, Care Manager. "We know first-hand that we are providing for the needs and concerns of our seniors. As an employee, our business environment has made a difference in my own life and that of my family, because it allows me the flexibility to be there with them when I need to be. Plus, Angelique leads by example every day, demonstrating that she is a rock star in her field! I couldn't be more thankful!" "Angelique and Giving Tree have given me the opportunity to transfer my HR skills and experience with a Fortune 500 company to a small business healthcare environment," she said. "She is thoughtful and caring as well as a business driver. I've enjoyed taking on a larger role and expanding my knowledge about healthcare compliance and staffing under her guidance. As we support the larger healthcare environment on a contractual basis, there is the expectation to hold ourselves accountable to the same regulations as if we were a Fortune 500 company and for that I am thankful."
