Humble Humans won the bid to design and co-develop a website for the opening of Transient Effects: The Solar Eclipses and Celestial Landscapes of Howard Russell Butler at Princeton University Art Museum. In addition to the site, we were asked to brand the show. The winning concept was a minimal mathematic representation of one of HBR's most prominent works. As a further show of respect, the site's responsive animated opening is the symbol rendered with pure CSS and a <ul> <li> structure with pixel perfect aspect ratio scaling. Before a photograph of a solar eclipse was possible, Butler used the tools of his trade to blur the line between art and science. visit site...
