Dr Andrew Trang

Dr Andrew loves all aspects of general practice but has a special appreciation and extra skillset in skin cancer medicine and surgery.

Dr Angela Hurley

Dr Angela enjoys all aspects of what general practice has to offer. She completed her medical training in 2016 and went on to work at Western Health in Melbourne before commencing work as a GP in Sydney in 2019. Additionally, she has spent time completing a country paediatric term from which she gained a lot of experience and also enjoyed her time working in multiple emergency departments. Prior to this Dr Angela completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney before working in medical research whilst pursuing a professional swimming career. She went on to represent Australia at a World Cup level before deciding to pursue medicine. Dr Angela has a special interest in women's and children's health, sports medicine, sexual health and general family medicine. She enjoys getting to know her patients and building good family relationships.

Dr Atari Metcalf

Atari completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Notre Dame Sydney, where he graduated with Distinction and first place in Population and Public Health. He completed his internship and residency at St Vincent's Hospital working across a variety of medical and surgical specialties in addition to completing secondments to Canterbury Hospital and RivMed Aboriginal Medical Service. Prior to practising medicine Atari completed a BSc in Health Promotion and held senior research and policy roles in health and human rights. He remains actively involved in research and advocacy projects and volunteers as a Board Director at ACON, NSW's largest LGBTQ community non-profit health service. Atari enjoys all aspects of primary care with a particular interest in sexual and reproductive health. He is also a certified MS-2 Step Prescriber for medical termination of pregnancy. Outside of work he loves ocean swimming, design and travel.

Dr Caitlin Weston

Having embarked on her medical journey in 2014, Caitlin transitioned from hospital-based medicine to General Practice in early 2020. While she originally hails from Sydney, she has gained valuable experience by residing and practicing in regional NSW for several years. Caitlin's expertise spans various aspects of general practice, with a keen interest in antenatal care, pediatrics, chronic disease management, and LGBTQIA+ health, with a focus on gender-affirming care.

Dr Ian Lockart

Dr Ian Lockart is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who is committed to providing you with high-quality care in a compassionate and unhurried manner. After completing his medical degree at the University of New South Wales (with honours), Ian went on to complete his specialist training at St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and has also attained the Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology, set by the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom. He is a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and is involved in the education and examination of doctors-in-training. He is accredited for gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) and is passionate about providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Ian is excited to be part of the team at Green Square Health. He is also a Staff Specialist at St Vincent's Hospital, where he runs both the general gastroenterology and liver disease clinics. Patients he meets at Green Square Health will have access to endoscopy procedures at either St Vincent's Hospital, or Alexandria Specialist Day Hospital.

Dr John-Alec Tynan

Dr Tynan completed medical school at the University of Sydney in 2008. Before qualifying as a General Practitioner he worked in emergency medicine and public health. He has additional training in travel medicine, HIV care and cosmetic injectables. Dr Tynan enjoys adopting a collaborative approach with his patients towards achieving their health goals.

Dr Katherine Hanks

Dr Katherine enjoys looking after people of all ages, with a particular interest in children's health, women's health and sexual health. She enjoys caring for members of the Aboriginal community as well as the LGBTQI+ community. Dr Katherine is an experienced IUD (Mirena) and Implanon inserter. She has completed her Diploma of Child Health in addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her child, drinking coffee and going for walks near the water.

Dr Phillip Orme

Dr. Phil Orme is a caring, patient-oriented conversationalist. He loves getting to know his patients closely and guiding them through the maze of the healthcare industry. Phil has been a practicing doctor since graduating from university back in 2015. He worked in the Central Coast initially, where he was offered a position in training in specialist Palliative Care. He worked there for 3 years, earning a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine. He has also worked in Haematology (including as a senior trainee) in Adelaide and Port Macquarie. He underwent GP Training in Canberra and is a Fellow of the RACGP. He is studying a Masters in Bioethics at the University of Sydney. Phil has a keen interest in Men's Health, chronic diseases and paediatrics . He is researching the young science of longevity medicine and up for a chat about the future of healthcare. He is a Sydney boy born and raised, based here with his partner Jess. You might catch him at the padel courts in Alexandria or running around Moore Park at lunchtime.

Dr Winnie Yao

Dr Winnie is an experienced GP with an interest in holistic family medicine. She previously worked as a GP in the CBD. She graduated from Monash University in 2010, and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. She also has a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health, and a Graduate Certificate of Paediatric Medicine from Sydney University. Dr Winnie has a special interest in women's health and paediatric medicine, having previously worked at St George Hospital in both the Paediatric and Obstetrics & Gynaecology departments for 8 months each. She is one of the few GPs in the area who is accredited to provide medical termination of pregnancy service (abortion). She is registered for Antenatal Shared Care with a number of hospitals, including the Royal Hospital for Women, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, St George Hospital, and Canterbury Hospital. She is also experienced in looking after patients with chronic disease, and does skin checks and minor procedures. Dr Winnie grew up in Sydney's Eastern suburbs before moving to Melbourne for university. She returned to Sydney after graduating and still lives in the Eastern suburbs with her husband and daughter. Dr Winnie is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese

Dr. Aiden O'Loughlin

Dr. Aiden O'Loughlin is a distinguished interventional cardiologist, bringing over a decade of expertise in clinical and interventional cardiology to his role. His illustrious journey in medicine commenced with advanced training at the renowned St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. Further enhancing his skills, Dr. O'Loughlin completed prestigious Interventional Cardiology fellowships at both Westmead Hospital in Sydney and the esteemed Stanford Hospital in the United States. Academically, Dr. O'Loughlin is highly accomplished, holding a Masters degree in Biostatistics and Clinical Trials and a Doctor of Philosophy by publication. His intellectual pursuits are evident in his current research, focusing on cutting-edge themes such as atherosclerosis and medical device biodesign. This reflects his commitment not only to patient care but also to the advancement of medical science. Presently, Dr. O'Loughlin serves as an academic interventional cardiologist at Western Sydney University. In this role, he melds his clinical acumen with academic rigor, contributing significantly to the field of cardiology. His extensive experience is further highlighted by the thousands of coronary, cardiac, and peripheral procedures he has proficiently performed. In recognition of his expertise, Dr. O'Loughlin is an advisor to the Advisory Committee for Medical Devices of the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia. This position underscores his influence and standing in the medical community, particularly in the realm of medical devices and patient safety. At the heart of Dr. O'Loughlin's practice is a dedication to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, underpinned by his deep understanding and innovative approach to interventional cardiology. His commitment to his patients and the broader medical community is unwavering, making him a valuable asset to Green Square Health, our growing community and the field of cardiology at large.

Dr. Christopher Muir

Dr. Christopher Muir is an Endocrinology consultant who is committed to delivering personalized and evidence-based healthcare. He graduated with honours in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2011 and completed his subspecialty training in Endocrinology at St. Vincent's Hospital, Sydney and Concord Repatriation General Hospital. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Muir holds a Conjoint Associate Lecturer position at the University of New South Wales where he teaches medical students, junior medical officers and registrars. He is a member of professional bodies such as the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australasian Diabetes Society, American Thyroid Association and the Endocrine Society (United States). Dr. Muir is also actively involved in clinical research and has presented his findings at national and international endocrine society meetings and published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Muir has a broad interest in all areas of Endocrinology and consults on patients with complex hormonal and metabolic disorders, including those with diabetes, bone, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal conditions.
