HARVEST PLAZA ANIMAL HOSPITAL - Key Persons

Dr. Mullen grew up in St. Louis county and she now lives in Ballwin with her husband, David, and Arlo the Great Dane. She enjoys spending time with her parents and four siblings who all still live in the St. Louis area. Dr. Josie Mullen studied Animal Science in undergrad at the University of Missouri-Columbia and stayed another four years to attend the UMC College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mullen graduated in 2020, and then joined our team at Harvest Plaza. Her interests within veterinary medicine include clinical pathology, dentistry, surgery and dermatology. Outside of work, Dr. Mullen hikes, camps and occasionally hunts with David. Other hobbies of hers include, working out, hanging with friends, and reading.

Dr. Katy Crecelius graduated from University of Missouri - Columbia in 2011 and then completed an internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists. Her father was excited to welcome her to his Harvest Plaza staff in 2012. Dr. Katy currently lives in St. Charles with her husband Chris and Aussie mix, Topo, and her demon cat, Oscar. She enjoys running with her dog and has participated in many fun runs and half marathons. She also enjoys outdoor activities, such as backpacking, canoeing, and fishing.

Dr. Mike Crecelius graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1977. He started practicing in St. Charles at St. Charles Animal Hospital and has remained at that clinic for 45 years. He founded Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital with Dr. John Prange in 1983. Dr. Mike has donated countless hours and services over the years to many rescue and shelter groups, including the Wildlife Rescue Center of Missouri.

Dr. Galmiche started at Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital after graduating in 2006 then left in 2008 to start a family . We were excited to welcome her back in 2021. She is happy to serve the clients of Harvest Plaza and says the staff encourage growth and personal well-being for the companions of the clients. She has been married for over 20 years and has four very active children (three boys and one sassy little girl). Dr. Galmiche has two dogs, nine hens, one rooster and six outdoor cats. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, quilting, spending her time outdoors camping, canoeing, hiking and teaching archery.
