After graduating art school, I was afraid of the unknown I faced. I was afraid of failing. I didn't know what the path forward looked like. And with the economy in crisis, I wasn't sure how, when, or where I was going to find another job, especially one that I liked. I did what so many do. I took what I could and spent years in jobs that weren't fulfilling for a paycheck. Thankfully, I learned the entire time. I learned about leadership, time-management, exceeding deadlines, and that details are just as important as the overall vision. I demonstrated all of these crucial business skills, but without the satisfaction and fulfillment... What was wrong with me? Was I crazy? It was all a bit maddening.
