The journey toward understanding is personal and requires taking risks. In order to facilitate this challenging process, educators must foster a classroom/school community that is respectful of differences. It is the duty of educators to guide EVERY student through a self-suited learning process. Instruction must be diverse, and methods of delivery and assessment must be constantly differentiated. Opportunities must be allowed in which technology is used as both a platform for learning, and a tool for assessment. When educators take the time to observe the learning of their students, and are provided meaningful time for data analysis, we can provide a focused environment that promotes success.
