Alan Wade

Mr. Wade currently serves as the President of Wade Associates Inc. Before joining the private sector, he served the federal service for thirty-five years, retiring as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). During his tenure as CIO of the CIA, he also served as the CIO for the United States Intelligence Community. Before his assignment as the CIO, Mr. Wade held a number of senior positions at the CIA, including Director of Security and Director of Communications. During his career, Mr. Wade's contributions were recognized several times. He is a recipient of the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, the Director's Medal and the Distinguished Intelligence Medal. Since his federal retirement, Mr. Wade has worked with several startup companies. He served on the boards of Safeboot N.V (acquired by McAfee® in 2007), Detica DFI (acquired by BAE Systems in 2008), Composite Software (acquired by Cisco® in 2013) and Applied Communications Sciences (acquired by the SI Organization, now Vencore, in 2013). He also serves on a number of public sector advisory boards for several technology companies. Mr. Wade received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University.

Brian L. Stafford

Mr. Stafford was appointed the 20 th Director of the United States Secret Service (USSS) on March 4, 1999. Prior to this distinguished 31-year career, he served in the U.S. Army and earned the Bronze Star in Vietnam. Mr. Stafford began his career with the Secret Service as a Special Agent. He served in both investigative and protective assignments including the Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division. He safeguarded Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush. Before being selected as Director, he held the key position of Assistant Director of Protective Operations where he oversaw all security operations for the agency. Mr. Stafford served as Director under both President Clinton and Bush. He is credited with supervising several National Special Security Events including the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, Super Bowl XXXVI and the 2002 Winter Olympics. He was the Director during the 9/11 attacks on our country and lead the Secret Service during and after this national tragedy. Mr. Stafford initiated an unprecedented recruitment and expansion effort aimed at diversifying the agency's workforce and improving the quality of life for all employees. During his tenure as Director, the Secret Service hired more than 1,000 additional personnel and its budget increased substantially. Under his leadership, the agency aggressively targeted the growth of computer crimes and established world-wide Electronic Crimes Task Forces. The National Threat Assessment Center, in partnership with the Department of Education, was also created to mitigate targeted violence against children in school. Mr. Stafford holds a BA in Business Administration and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Mount Union, where he served as a Trustee. He also continued his education at The University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Stafford retired as the Director of the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) after thirty-one years of service and as a distinguished U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He currently serves on a number of non-profit and for profit boards. Prior to being appointed Director, Mr. Stafford held several leadership roles at USSS and was responsible for the safety of seven Presidents. During his tenure as Director, he initiated a significant growth strategy focused on diversifying the agency's workforce and improving the quality of life for agents and other personnel. Under his leadership, USSS established the nationwide Electronic Crimes Task Forces, and also created the National Threat Assessment Center, working with the Department of Education to prevent threats of school violence.

Cathi Yeatts

Cathi Yeatts began her 25-year career with LexisNexis in 1992 as an entry level sales assistant for the company's sales representatives for government, law and business customers in the Washington, D.C. region. In 1995, she became the office and facilities manager for the regional office, then was promoted in 1998 to a customer-facing role as Research Consultant, training customers in federal law enforcement and entitlement agencies how to use public records for investigative research. Ms. Yeatts was made a Federal Sales Representative in 2000, serving all non-law enforcement agencies, including the IRS, Social Security Administration, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In her seven years as a sales representative, Ms. Yeatts was named Account Manager of the Year and twice was a Circle of Excellence winner. She moved from individual contributor to a managerial role in 2006, when she was named Regional Sales Manager, Federal; her team of seven and covered all federal sales. In 2009, she was promoted to Manager, Sales Operations, responsible for overseeing the sales process, working with sales representatives as the liaison to existing customers, maintaining customer satisfaction and improving the customer experience. Her expanded portfolio included all risk operations for federal, state and local customers. She leveraged the company's commercial customer experience program to establish a similar program for government customers. Ms. Yeatts was named Director, Sales Operations in 2012, responsible for executing the sales operating strategy and execution for the government market. In 2015, Ms. Yeatts stood up the Program Management organization to direct and manage all state and local and federal customer engagement. She is currently Senior Director, Sales Operations and Program Management and now has eight managers reporting to her directly and runs both the Sales Operations and Program Management components.

Cathy Lanier

Over her 26 years in law enforcement and counterterrorism, Cathy Lanier has come to be known for her game-changing leadership. Prior to serving in her current role as Senior Vice President and Chief of Security at the National Football League, Lanier held the position of Chief of Police with the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) from 2007 to 2016. Lanier rose through the ranks of the MPD to earn various commendable honors including becoming the first female police chief of the nation's capital, the first commanding officer of Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism for D.C. Police, one of a small number of female chiefs in the nation at the time, and the longest serving chief on the D.C. force. Now, as the Chief of Security for the National Football League, Lanier safeguards the security of all 32 NFL teams and their venues, liaises and collaborates with federal, state and local law enforcement, and ensures security for League events like the Super Bowl. As an innovative force in safety and security, Chief Lanier's service continues to extend beyond the NFL. She is Chair of the Commercial Facilities Sector Coordinating Council and Co-Chair of the Sports League Sub-Sector Coordinating Council. Cathy holds both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business Management from Johns Hopkins University, and a Master's Degree in Homeland Security and Defense from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. She is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Drug Enforcement Administration's Drug Unit Commanders Academy.

Howard Safir

Born February 24, 1942, to George Safir and Rose (Weiner) Safir in the Bronx, NY, Howard was a devoted husband to Carol for 57 years, father to Jennifer and Adam, and grandparent to Audrey, Hudson, Cara and Alexander. He is survived by his sister Elaine Siegel, brother Sheldon Safir, and an extended family of relatives and friends who mourn his loss and celebrate his life. Mr. Safir is publicly known for his service as Commissioner of the New York Police Department (NYPD) and Commissioner of the New York Fire Department (FDNY). As Fire Commissioner from 1994-1996 Safir visited every firehouse and led efforts to re-organize and re-equip the department, including with life-saving bunker gear. As Police Commissioner from 1996-2000, Safir led an unprecedented reduction in crime while also reducing citizen complaints and establishing the department's Courtesy, Professionalism & Respect program, those words still painted on the side of every police car in New York City. Mr. Safir's 26 years of federal law enforcement service began in 1965 at the predecessor agencies to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), where he thrived as an undercover agent and lead the Western Region in Los Angeles at DEA's founding when he was 30 years old. After serving in various DEA leadership roles in Washington, Safir was assigned to the United States Marshals Service where he led the revitalization of the Witness Security Program, and as Director of Operations, spearheaded pioneering operations to bring international fugitives to justice including cartel leaders, spies, terrorists, arms dealers and war criminals. Mr. Safir's twenty-year private sector career included the founding of security and risk-management companies and service on the boards of Verint, Cognyte, LexisNexis Special Services and Citius Pharmaceuticals. A regular commentator on Fox News and columnist, Mr. Safir consistently advocated for the rights of people to live free of crime and fear of crime. A skilled sailor, golfer and photographer, Mr. Safir's greatest talent was inspiring and counseling others to be successful and purposeful in life. He will be missed for his humor, his care and his love.

Jill Kroeger

Jill Kroeger is a career employee of LexisNexis Special Services Inc. and a certified project/program management professional. She was appointed Senior Project Manager, Security and Compliance in 2017. In this role she is responsible for the company's Information Technology Security Program, ensuring compliance with data security including federal Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) and state and local standards for security and privacy of law enforcement-provided data. She began her career with LexisNexis in 1997 as the lead designer for www.lexis.com, the company's flagship site and first ever Web-based legal research system in the world. In 2000, she was named Project/Program Manager for the website, where she managed more than 50 multi-million dollar projects to completion. In 2008, Ms. Kroeger was named Global Operations Liaison, to improve daily operational relationships between multiple business units and departments, and subsequently became the Technical Project Manager for the launch of Lexis Advance, managing the release process for a new LexisNexis core product line, including large-scale, multi-domain components as Alert Service, Verdict Settlement Analyzer and Public Records. In 2014 Ms. Kroeger was named Senior Project Manager and Acting Program Manager for the Public Safety Program and Public Safety Acquisitions, with responsibility for federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders across the United States. She was responsible for integration of acquisitions, developing the PMO process to ensure delivery on customer contracts, and contract, security and technology compliance and audit management, which included CJIS and National Institute of Standards and Technology compliance for IT and physical security. Ms. Kroeger has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Neurosurgery Fitzpatrick Chiari Research Fund since 2011, and currently serves as Vice Chair.

Lisa Simmons

Lisa Simmons has worked in the technology industry for more than 25 years, beginning as programming expert at Yale University helping PhD students with their research. She joined TopSpeed Corporation in 1990 as a developer; during her 10 years with TopSpeed, she was responsible for creating Clarion Editor and Clarion Report Writer, and conducted consulting projects for the company. In 1999, Ms. Simmons joined LexisNexis Risk Solutions, formerly eData.com, as Development Manager. In that role, she was responsible for Clarion development, including Listmaker, UPS, and proof of concepts. In 2001 she was promoted to Product Manager for Seisint, where she was helped spearhead the development of the LexisNexis flagship solution - Accurint - from start to finish, including requirements writing, testing, and product management. Ms. Simmons was promoted to Vice President, Product Development in 2005, where she guided product development activities within the Accurint platform and served as primary technology liaison for the Collections market. In March 2012 she was named Vice President Technology, Public Records. Her responsibilities expanded to include all Public Records technology, including Business Services and Government solutions. In March 2015, Ms. Simmons was named to her current position as Vice President of Technology, responsible for all Government projects. She leads the engineering organization in building all products for the government sector, including all aspects related to the data build process, as well as all front-end web development. Her team includes ECL Query, Web interface, and visualization engineers. She also is responsible for Risk Solution Batch solutions, as well as System-to-System solutions. Ms. Simmons attended Bentley College (now University) in Boston, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems.

Richard J. Tubb

Brig. Gen. (Dr.) Richard J. Tubb is the Physician to the President, and Director, White House Medical Unit, the White House, Washington, D.C. He is responsible for providing direct support and advice to the President of the United States, and he oversees all healthcare services within the White House, Camp David, the Western White House, aboard executive aircraft, while deployed and at contingency locations. In addition he manages the company's content acquisition, bulk content fabrication, sales and licensing, along with managing two specialty businesses also owned by LexisNexis: VitalChek and Signature Information Solutions. Previously, Trainor served as Senior Vice President of Content and Data Services. Prior to joining LexisNexis, Trainor was Vice President of Content for Seisint, a privately owned company based in Boca Raton, FL, which was acquired by LexisNexis in 2004. In this position, he was responsible for all content acquisition. Prior to 2001, Trainor served as Vice President of Contracts and Program Management for Diveo Broadband Networks, where he managed significant vendor financing agreements and the contract management aspects of building out world-class data centers and fixed wireless networks across Latin America. Stacia Hylton

Ms. Hylton began her 35-year law enforcement career as a Deputy U.S. Marshal in 1980. During her tenure with the U.S. Marshals Service, she rose progressively through the ranks holding several key positions in diverse mission areas, including 10 years in the Special Operations Group. She was selected to serve as an instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy; as well as Witness Security Inspector; Chief of Judicial Security; Chief Deputy, District of South Carolina; and Assistant Director for the Prisoner Operations Division. She also served as the Agency's Incident Response Commander for national disasters and emergencies, Chair of the Merit Promotion System and as the Agency's Deciding Official. In 2001 she was Acting Deputy Director for the agency. In 2004, Ms. Hylton was appointed to serve as the Attorney General's Federal Detention Trustee, responsible to ensure efficient and effective management of programs for individuals held in confinement, several billion dollars across multiple fiscal years, complex contracts, quality assurance programs, audits and interagency technology solutions, along with the oversight of Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System. The Trustee worked across several agencies, such as the Bureau of Prisons, Immigration Customs and Border Patrol and the US Marshals Service and thousands of state, local and private facilities across the country, all operating under different federal, state and local legislation and regulations requiring a broad base of knowledge to resolve complex issues. Ms. Hylton retired from public service after a 30-year career in 2010 and stood up a small business, but returned to public service in late 2010 when she was asked by the President to serve as the Director of the U.S. Marshals Service. Ms. Hylton was confirmed by the U.S. Senate and retired in 2015 after serving for five years. As head of the agency she managed a multi-year budget and assets totally approximately $5 billion, directed 5,600 employees, 1,750 sworn Task Force Officers from state and local agencies, 5,100 Court Security Officers, and 94 Presidentially appointed U.S. Marshals, within 94 judicial districts and three international offices. The United States Marshals Service secures over 2,000 Federal judges, the U.S. Attorneys, federal witnesses and arrests more than one hundred thousand wanted fugitives and registered sex offenders annually. Ms. Hylton currently serves as a Director for two publicly traded companies, SPOK.INC (Audit/Finance Com) since 2015 and Core Civic (Nominating/Governance Com) since 2016. Ms. Hylton has been a Principal at LS Advisory, a New Jersey-based business solutions advisory consultancy, specializing in information technology business strategies, cybersecurity, risk management and acquisitions since 2015. Ms. Hylton has served on the board of directors for numerous nonprofit organizations, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the International Association of Chiefs of Police Executive Committee, and the National Sheriffs Association. She is appointed as a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Service and is the recipient of the President's Meritorious Service Rank Award for Outstanding Service to United States Government and several Attorney General's awards including the Edmund J. Thomas Bush

Thomas Bush was appointed to be Assistant Director of the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on December 23, 2004, by Director Robert Mueller. During his tenure, he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the FBI's largest division, with more than 2,500 employees, and an annual budget of approximately $1 billion. He directed the award of two significant IT projects, Next Generation Identification and N-DEx, and was instrumental in establishing the interoperability of FBI, DHS and DoD biometric systems. Mr. Bush began his career with the FBI in 1975, in the Identification Division (now CJIS) and the Information Resources Division. He became an FBI Agent in 1979, and began in 1980 in Bank Robbery and Fugitives. In 1988 he was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent in the Fugitive/Government Reservation Crimes Unit of the Violent Crime and Major Offender Section, Criminal Investigative Division. In 1990, he transferred to the Jackson (Miss.) Field Division as a Supervisor Special Agent, directing Violent Crime, Drug and Civil Rights investigations. In 1996 he was promoted to Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Atlanta Field Division. Mr. Bush was promoted to Section, Programs Development Section, CJIS Division, in 2000, and was appointed Special Agent in Charge, St. Louis Field Division, in 2002. He became a member of the Senior Executive Service in 2000. Among his professional accomplishments, he was designated by Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge as a Principal Federal Official in 2004; was a recipient of the Presidential Rank Award in 2007; and a recipient of the SEARCH O.J. Hawkins Award in 2010. Mr. Bush retired from the FBI in 2009 and established Tom Bush Consulting, LLC. Mr. Bush holds a Bachelor of Public Administration from the University of Mississippi. During his tenure with the FBI he graduated from the National Executive Institute and the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management.

William G. Gross

William G. Gross is the 42nd Police Commissioner of the City of Boston. He has served the people of Boston for 37 years. After joining the department in 1983 as a Boston Police Cadet, he graduated from the Boston Police Academy in 1985. He spent years as a patrol officer, patrolling the many neighborhoods of Boston. He was also assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force and the Drug Control Unit, as well as being an Instructor at the Boston Police Academy. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2004 and rated Sergeant-Detective in 2006. The majority of his supervisory years were spent serving the neighborhoods of the Dorchester section of the city. In 2008 he was appointed to the Command Staff as a Deputy Superintendent and promoted to the rank of Superintendent in 2012, assuming the role of Night Commander overseeing police services citywide. In January 2014, he was appointed by Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Police Commissioner William Evans to the position of Superintendent-in-Chief, the first African American Chief to hold the rank in the history of the Boston Police Department. Throughout his career he has cultivated and maintained a strong connection with the community. He often could be found on the front lines; interacting with community activists, grieving families, clergy, neighbors, even protesters; treating everyone with respect and dignity. He strongly believes that "if you want change, you have to be the change", a philosophy he models for the community and the members of the police department. He has been awarded numerous Departmental awards for bravery and meritorious service and several Governor's Citations; the Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award; the United States Attorney's Boston Offices' award For Outstanding Dedicated Service to the Survivors of the Boston Marathon Bombing during the Trial of United States vs Dzhokhar Tsarnaev; the Department of Justice Investigative Achievement Award and was named one of Boston's 100 Most Influential People of Color. In June 2018, marking the 50th anniversary of the passing of Robert F. Kennedy, he was presented the Robert F. Kennedy "Embracing the Legacy" Award. This award recognizes those who work tirelessly to carry on the legacy of the late Senator by raising awareness and fighting against societal injustice and inequity that affect children and families. Commissioner Gross is also affiliated with groups that are important to him both on a professional and personal level, such as the Massachusetts Major Cities Chiefs Association, the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company and the Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. of Eastern Massachusetts. He also sits on the Advisory Boards for Boston Center for Youth and Families, the George Lewis Ruffin Society and the Special Olympics of Massachusetts. On August 6, 2018, William G. Gross was sworn in by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, again, breaking down barriers by becoming the first person of color to hold the Police Commissioner's position in the City of Boston.
