Allison joined ML6 in June 2021 as the Vice President of the Engineering Division. She came to ML6 with 14 years of experience in the recruitment industry, specializing in Engineering recruitment within the Manufacturing Sector. She is passionate about fully integrating into her client's business, so she can be a true extension of them in the market. Allison attended the University of Guelph where she achieved her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree. Allison and her husband Mike live a very active life at home, with their son and daughter who love sports! Their favourite family sport is downhill skiing and when they are not in an arena watching hockey or ringette, they are at a baseball diamond cheering Jack and Julia on.
Angie joined the ML6 team in September of 2020 as an Associate Recruiter. Throughout her career she has been driven by helping others achieve their professional ambitions and aspirations by offering extensive experience in recruitment and consulting. She demonstrates and utilizes her exemplary record of career development, coaching, executive placement, and technical recruiting. After more than a decade in talent acquisition, she is highly skilled at driving conversations and connecting with top talent. Angie is always eager to find the humour in just about any situation and loves spending time with her daughter, husband, family, and friends. In her downtime, she can usually be found enjoying great food, engaging in conversations, and spending time with her family... or in front of the TV catching one of her favourite shows.
Brandon rejoined ML6 in January 2023, bringing with him over four years of recruitment experience in the Technology sector. Brandon is passionate about all thing tech and loves talking to both clients and candidates alike about the latest trends in the industry. He prides himself on bringing a genuine curiosity and passion to conversations with candidates to fully understand their needs and help connect them to the right employer. Brandon holds a Master's Degree in Sociology from Queen's University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College. Interestingly, this is not the first time that Brandon has worked as part of the ML6 team. He started his recruiting career with ML6 in 2018 after graduating from school. Brandon lives in Waterdown with his wife Charlotte, daughter Matilda, and dog Kiki. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys playing collectible card games with friends, such as Magic the Gathering, and working on improving his golf game so that he can one day beat his Father-in-Law at a round!
Christian joined ML6 in November of 2020 and brings with him 9 years of experience recruiting within the manufacturing industry working on a diverse portfolio of roles which range from skilled trades to industrial management. Christian attended Mohawk College in Hamilton where he achieved his Diploma in Advertising which ultimately allowed him to gain access into the recruiting industry where he found his niche. Christian currently lives in Stoney Creek with his wife, Jessica and his Chihuahua, Prim. On his downtime from the office, Christian enjoys spending time with his family, watching anything from the Star Wars or Marvel Universe and playing some of his favourite video games: Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed.
Connor joined ML6 in February 2023 as a Senior Associate, bringing 4 years of previous recruiting experience with him. He has focused on a diverse portfolio of roles supporting many industries and has a strong specialization in sales and healthcare recruitment. Connor has successfully partnered with early-stage startups and Fortune 500 accounts, providing strategic advice on talent strategy and growth for his clients. Connor completed his bachelor's degree at Carleton University in Ottawa after which he attended Humber College in Etobicoke where he achieved his Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. Connor currently lives in Alberta with his fiancée and Boston Terrier / Pug mix, Dobby. Outside of the office, Connor enjoys spending time with family and friends and can often be found playing guitar, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling.
Erin joined ML6 in January 2020, assisting with Business Development. With a passion for building and maintaining relationships, she brings over 10 years of sales and business development experience and has a strong background in a variety of industries including recruitment, management consulting, hospitality, retail and marketing. Erin graduated from The University of Guelph with an Honors BA in English and Sociology. In her spare time, you can find Erin at her family camp (what those from Northern Ontario call a cottage) with her husband, Jeff, her sons, Wyatt and Lincoln, and her goofy pup, Scoots.
Isabelle joined ML6 in January 2021 as a Senior Associate Search with a focus on Business Development. Trilingual, passionate, and positive leader with 20+ years experience helping companies, across different industries and continents, find their perfect match. Her expertise lies in building strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, Account Management and Head-Hunting. She is someone who will go the extra mile and think outside of the box to find the perfect solution for her clients. You will sometimes hear her talk about how she misses her Swiss Alps, but since 2007, she has called Canada home and found a new love in sailing on Lake Ontario with her husband and teenage son.
Jeff joined ML6 in January 2018, and brings with him a wealth of experience in Talent and HR leadership from large, multinational organizations, and high-growth, entrepreneurial, Canadian start-ups. He is passionate about building and leading great teams, analyzing challenges, and creating & implementing custom solutions to deliver upon organizational objectives. Jeff attended McMaster University in Hamilton where he achieved his honours BA in Labour Studies while playing varsity rugby, winning 3 OUA championships. He then went on to complete his Post-grad in Human Resources Management at Humber College in Toronto. After starting his career in the GTA, Jeff spent two years in Alberta enjoying the steak, and the mountains. He now lives in Burlington with his wife, Erin, his sons, Wyatt and Lincoln, and his dog, Scoots. When he's not at the office, or on the pitch, you can find him whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen, reading the latest fantasy novel, or playing his favourite video games.
Joe came to the Talent Acquisition world and ML6 from a background in technical sales in the UK. Upon completing an MSc in Environmental Monitoring and Analysis at Aberystywth University, he had worked with several organisations connecting clients to technical applications in the scientific and manufacturing sectors. Then came a stint as a Ski Instructor and a Mountain Bike guide in the mountains of British Columbia before returning to his passion for connecting people with solutions at ML6. He can still be found in the wet mountains of BC sliding down them on tyres or skis dependant upon the season.
Monique joined ML6 in October 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and German with a minor in French from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Monique worked at the Alliance Francaise of Port Elizabeth as a French and German teacher prior to immigrating to Canada. Since then, she has placed her focus on her family, managing and organizing their busy schedules. Monique currently resides in rural Burlington with her husband, 4 children and a menagerie of pets including 2 dogs, 4 snakes, a hamster and a brood of chickens.
Samantha joined ML6 in April 2018, bringing with her two plus years of recruitment experience in the administrative and industrial sectors. Samantha believes in building meaningful relationships with clients to better understand their needs and connect them to top talent, ensuring a successful and long-lasting relationship. Samantha graduated from McMaster University with an Honors BA in English and Cultural Studies. While at McMaster, Samantha dedicated much of her free time to actively supporting Relay for Life, holding various roles on the committee. She helped to raise over $200,000 over a three-year period for the Canadian Cancer Society. After school, Samantha spent a summer in the United Kingdom working in the hospitality industry, travelling, meeting new people, writing, and exploring her English roots. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, hiking, and exploring craft breweries with her boyfriend.
Samantha joined ML6 in March 2023 as the Director of Engineering. With over a decade of experience in the recruitment industry, Samantha specializes in Engineering recruitment within heavy industries, construction, and consulting engineering. Sam works closely with clients and candidates to understand their unique projects in any sector and acts as a personal consultant for their staffing and work resource needs. The human element of the business is particularly important to her.
Spencer joined ML6 in July 2022 as a Senior Associate. He brings over two years of recruitment experience across various sectors such as: technology, food & beverage, consumer goods, medical device, non-profit, and industrial manufacturing. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Trinity Western University with a specialization in marketing. Spencer uses his upbeat and gregarious nature to build strong relationships with candidates and clients alike. He relentlessly seeks to provide tailored and customized talent solutions that grow the bottom line. Spencer lives in Waterdown with his wife Shauna and puppy Pumpkin. In his spare time Spencer enjoys to golf, spend quality time with friends and family, and anxiously watch his Buffalo Bills and Sabres.
Yann joined ML6 in June 2022 to lead the Mining Division. He is an experienced bilingual Account Manager & Recruiter with 10+ years' experience handling small, medium & large volume Mining & Engineering accounts across North America and around the world. His excellent customer service skills allow him to build and continually develop long-term business relationships based on trust and proven performance. He is a results-driven Recruitment Professional with extensive experience managing accounts and recruiting within the domestic and international mining industry. A firm believer in working towards service excellence and driving ML6's culture of success through long term partnerships, Yann is directly accountable for the integrity, productivity, performance and continual improvement of the Mining Division at ML6. Yann graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK with a bachelor's degree in International Business and French, and spent a semester studying at the prestigious IPAG Business School in Nice, France. Outside the office you'll find Yann watching his beloved Liverpool football club, playing sports, or hanging out with his wife and dog.
