Professor Daniel Irurah - has been promoting sustainability and energy efficiency in cities, buildings and infrastructure for well over 20 years. Over this time he has trained, assisted and advised many of our leading smart city, sustainability and efficiency industry leaders as well as advising governments and authoring the South African Environment and Climate Change Strategy for the Department of Energy in 2015.

Dr Martin Müller is a knowledge leader in technical and IoT systems, including ICT hardware design, energy and mining. Sitting on the steering committee of the Wits Digital Mine is part of several important advancements projects that will help build a stronger and safer climate for local miners. He recently established a collaborative academic think tank for Southern African renewable energy.
