Dr. Julia Alexandrov is an Optometrist at My Optical, serving patients in the Brooklyn, NY area. Dr. Alexandrov performs exams for Contacts, exams for Eyeglasses, LASIK surgery referrals, Pterygium treatment, Astigmatism treatment, Macular Degeneration treatment, Glaucoma, Dry Eye and Cataract treatment. Dr. Alexandrov earned her Bachelor of Art degree in psychology Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College, New York. She then attended the State University Of New York College of Optometry, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. Dr. Alexandrov has completed her residency training at Brooklyn and St. Albans VA Hospital with an emphasis treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Alexandrov has been serving as an Attending Optometrist at the Laser and Microsurgery Institute since 2001. In this position, she works closely with the leading New York City ophthalmologists, diagnosing and treating ocular disease and glaucoma patients as well as co-managing pre- and post-LASIK, cataract, and glaucoma surgery patients.
