Adaobi Anne Nwokedi

Adaobi Nwokedi is the Communications & Marketing Director at NPL Advisors. She is an award winning television presenter, producer and director of Ancom Limited, a television production company based in London. Adaobi has worked with the largest television network in Africa, the Nigerian Television Authority ("NTA") from 1999 to 2002 where she reported, presented, produced and anchored the pioneering national breakfast show, "Perescoping the Globe" including the national and international financial markets. Within a short time at NTA she won the station's highest award, the "General Manager's Award for Resourcefulness". Returning to London in 2002, she gained experience at advanced radio presentation with the BBC World Service. Furthering her career in television broadcasting, Adaobi then joined the London office of BEN Television, [SKY Cannel 182] in 2005. BEN Television is the first black and ethnic oriented urban, diverse and cosmopolitan family channel. It's coverage reaches every part of the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North Africa and West Africa. Prior to her broadcasting career, Adaobi trained as an architect at the prestigious Architectural Association in England and worked with architects Chapman Taylor Partners where she designed offices and shopping centres for, amongst other key clients of the firm, the Hammerson Group plc. Adaobi Nwokedi holds a Diploma in Architecture; Master of Arts degree in Public Art and Design from Chelsea College of Art; and a Master of Science degree in European Property Development and Planning from the University of London. Adaobi has been commended and awarded Certificates of Excellence in Journalism, Television Presentation and Production from the NTA and the London Academy of Media, Film and Television.

Confidence Shielu is an Executive Director & Head of Oil and Gas at NPL Advisors. She has twelve years experience in Business Development for Infrastructure and Upstream Oil and Gas projects. This includes divestiture and investment in upstream Oil and Gas, government relations, environmental and social governance management, public private partnership project initiation and bidding for concessions, corporate strategy development and social enterprise development. Confidence (Connie) also has seven years experience in vehicle leasing to Corporate and government organisations.

David Lautier

David Lautier has over twenty years experience in financial services in the City of London, including extensive experience of structured, retail, acquisition, project and commodity finance in developed and developing markets, both from a credit and a legal perspective. He also successfully managed a regulated business for a number of years. He has previously worked as a lawyer (Clifford Chance, Freshfields), with rating agencies (Moody's Investors Service and DBRS) and with an investment bank (UniCredit), first as Head of Credit for Securitisation, then as Head of UK Mortgages and as CEO of a regulated mortgage lender. David holds masters degrees in both finance and law and trained and qualified as a lawyer at the Paris bar.

Francis Nwokedi - CEO, Managing Director

Francis Nwokedi is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of NPL Advisors. Previously he was a partner and Head of Banking & Finance at the London office of the Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau. He has extensive experience of all forms of finance - including securitisation, structured credit derivatives, project finance and Shariah compliant capital markets transactions. Francis also has experience in the developed debt capital markets, where he has been involved in complex restructuring and regulatory changes. Francis has previously worked as in-house counsel and as an investment banker in major international financial institutions (The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., UniCredit Bank AG), largely focusing on structuring and documenting "first time" transactions in emerging markets in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Southern Europe. Francis is a member of the Royal African Society, Chatham House and The Royal Institute of International Affairs. He is a governor at the Petchey Academy, a trustee of West Hackney Parochial Charity and a trustee of the Hackney Joint Estate Charity. Francis graduated in Law from the University of Warwick, trained and qualified as a solicitor with Clifford Chance in their London and Paris offices.

Halima Saadiya-Shehu

Halima Saadiya-Shehu is a Non-Executive Director at NPL Advisors. Halima holds a BA in English and a Masters in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. She has over 10 years experience in banking and recently worked for the Katsina State Government as a Senior Special Assistant and latterly participated as an ECOWAS observer at the Cape Verde national elections.

Harold (Harry) Agyeman

Harold (Harry) Agyeman is an Associate Director of NPL Advisors. He has over 25 years experience in Energy, Telecoms. Manufacturing and Technology industries as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Consultant and an entrepreneur in business, systems and process development. Harry is the founder of Fuel Switch Initiative, where he promotes the use of natural gas for mines and manufacturing industries by use of virtual distribution pipelines. He also developed a project and budgeting monitoring and evaluation system for the UNDP for their Ghanaian development partners. Harry is the co-founder of AB 2, the company credited with initiating and including the use of biometric iris technology in the Ghana National Identity Card project. Before his entrepreneurship ventures, Harry worked in different roles for KPMG, Corona Energy, Atos Origin, O 2, Logica and Rover Cars where he developed energy trading, network cost saving, provisioning, billing, mediation and SCADA systems. He also worked for MCI WorldCom where he assisted the company to conform to European Telecoms regulations in the areas of managing historical billing data, converging and itemisation of usage data on customer invoices. Harry is a member of the Biogas Association of Ghana. He introduced the biogas plugflow digester and BackPack transport system to the country. He is an Independent Researcher on country entry risk analysis and was a columnist for the Ghanaian newspaper called Business Analyst. He holds a Master of Research (MRes) in Innovative Manufacturing from Cranfield University and a BSc Hons in Industrial Information Technology from Birmingham City University. Harry is representing NPL Advisors in Ghana.

Kiki Uduma - Founder

Kiki Uduma is a CIPD accredited human resource management professional with 15 years work experience specializing in Strategic Human Resources in the Oil & Gas, Finance and Technology industry. Kiki's experience across these sectors led to a personal passion for seeing a drive towards investing in African based projects and as such, joined NPL Advisors as an Associate Director in 2022. In addition to this, Kiki also works as a consultant in clinical research in the medical device field for an international pharmaceutical company. Kiki is also the Founder of a female youth development platform called Aspire Academy, based in Nigeria. Aspire Academy was launched in 2017 as a free platform for female students, graduates and young professionals to get the training and support they need in order to help them successfully launch their career and business journeys. Through the platform, Kiki has trained and equipped over 80 individuals and prepared them for the labor market, having successfully placed over 5% of our program participants in jobs through partnership with local recruitment agencies. Kiki is a member of the Women In Mining organization and the International Women's Society. She has a certification in Corporate Communications from the International School of Communications London, a Masters degree in Human Resources & Business Management from Aston University and a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Bristol University. She is also the Founder of a sustainable diamond and gemstone brand, Kiki Lucas Jewelry based in Houston, Texas and a public speaker. Kiki is representing NPL Advisors in the United States of America.

Michael Osu

Michael Osu is an Associate Director at NPL Advisors. He has over 15 years in Financial Services particularly within Risk and Regulatory Reporting across Insurance, Banking and Investment Management. Michael is co-founder of Capital Markets in Africa, where he covers the African Capital Markets development, curating Insights into their financial and regulatory frameworks and undertakes Project Origination. He is also the Associate Editor of their magazine INTO AFRICA. Prior to establishing Capital Markets in Africa Michael worked within Risk Management and the Asset Data required for financial markets and calculating Risk Exposures, for institutions such as Prudential, Bank of New York Mellon, Fortis Bank, Barclays Commercial Banking and Old Mutual. He has also worked within Fund Management in a Trade and Securities Reporting function where he focused on capturing Custody, Securitisation and Trade Finance transactions flows in the UK, US and European markets. Michael is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and an Associate member of the Investor Relations Society. He is a trustee of the Black Diamonds Trust a Charity supporting children in developing nations tackling education, health and extreme hunger. Michael obtained an MBA from Cass Business School and has a Master's in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster.

Remi Odunlami

Remi Odunlami is a Director with NPL Advisors. She is a Risk Manager with over 30 years of experience in Banking and Risk Management. She retired from First Bank Nigeria Ltd as the Chief Risk Officer, with oversight of credit, market, operational and IT risks and involvement in structuring of transactions in various sectors of the Nigerian economy. She was also a Non-Executive Director with FBN Bank UK gaining exposure to structured transactions. In her career to date, she has been the Country Risk Manager with Citibank Nigeria, Chairman of the Banque Internationale du Credit, DRC and has sat on the boards of companies in various segments of the Financial Industry, Real Estate Development, Oil Services and Credit Referencing. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Warwick, is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and sits on the board of a bank and a pension fund administrator in Nigeria.

Seye Onabolu

Seye Onabolu is a Consultant at NPL Advisors. He is a globally recognised banking professional and social entrepreneur. He has worked in corporate and investment banking for over 15 years across Africa, Middle East and Europe, specialising in (conventional and Islamic) financing and investment solutions for projects focused on Africa and the Middle East. Seye is a fully qualified Management Accountant, he holds a BSc in Economics and International Politics, an MSc in Accounting and Finance, an MBA, CFA level 1 certification and the Islamic Finance Qualification. Seye is fluent in English and Greek.

Sir Chikezie N. Wachuku - Chairman

Sir Chikezie Ndubuisi Wachuku is the Chairman of NPL Advisors. Sir Chikezie is the son of the late Chief Josiah Ndubuisi Wachuku who was a Warrant Chief in the colonial era in Nigeria. He was also one of the paramount Chiefs in Ngwaland of Eastern Nigeria. Sir Chikezie studied public administration in Trinity College Dublin and then read law at the University of London; he qualified as a barrister in the Middle Temple in 1963. In his illustrious career, both in private practice and in public service, Sir Chikezie has built a reputation for excellence, critical thinking, transparency and complete openness. With a natural bias for financial services implementation and regulation, Sir Chikezie has participated in numerous multi-national and international negotiations and subsequent agreements on agricultural development in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Cote D'Ivoire and Ghana. Amongst his many accomplishments in his illustrious career, Sir Chikezie has held the following posts: Director of the Eastern Nigeria Co-operative Consumer Association Ltd; Legal Adviser of the National Bank of Nigeria Ltd; Legal Adviser of the African Development Corporation Ltd; Director of the Co-operative Bank of Eastern Nigeria Ltd; and Director & General Counsel of the subsidiary companies of the Agricultural Development Authority of East Central State of Nigeria. Sir Chikezie was also a federal Commissioner in the Nigerian Law Reform Commission equivalent to a Justice of the Court of Appeal Nigeria and thereafter the Executive Chairman of the Abia State Law Reform Commission.
