PFS started in 1987 as a gamble in a growing industry. Gerry has since nurtured his vision into a thirty-year-old business with customers all over the world and counting. Within those thirty years of hands-on experience, Gerry has become an expert in the stud welding and fastening industries, handling nearly every problematic situation that so often emerges in a challenging and highly technical industry.
In addition to being the president of PFS, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Gerry officially added Inventor to his long list of accolades and accomplishments upon being rewarded United States Patent No. 9,732,884 for his groundbreaking invention, the T-SEP™. This technology has since been recognized as an innovative solution to the ever-persistent challenge of addressing and suppressing crevice corrosion in caustic offshore environments. Along with the T-SEP, Gerry is responsible for creating innovations that are now staples in the industry: the ESL Slotted Cable Hanger ('91), SLP Pneumatic Tube Support ('91), PTCB Tubing Channel Bracket ('93), SGC Grating Mount ('94), and the FGGC Grating Mount ('98). These products could only have been envisioned and marketed by someone with Gerry's expertise and determination.
When not managing PFS, Gerry can be found playing with his grandchildren, pulling for the New Orleans Saints and De La Salle Cavaliers ('71), or immersed in his beautiful and always changing garden. Lastly, Gerry would tell you that his greatest accomplishment and joy in life has been his forty-seven years of marriage to his beautiful and equally devoted wife, Connie. As Vice President of PFS, Connie, or as she's known to her 9 grandchildren- "Peaches", has worked alongside Gerry to not only create a viable and productive business but, most importantly, a happy and healthy family with plans to see the business grow even further.
