PUBLIC ADJUSTING

We are involved in the formulation, submission and negotiation, primarily of insurance related claims, throughout Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. We also get involved in non-insurance related disputes. We do not act on behalf of insurance companies so as to prevent any conflict of interest situations from arising. Our main focus is large and complex fire claims involving stock, work in progress, plant and machinery, electrical equipment, buildings and business interruption. In addition, we handle issues such as liability claims (mainly professional indemnity) and fidelity guarantee... Whilst the majority of all material damage and liability claims are handled by Stuart Woodhead, we also make use of the services of a number of professionals such as such as forensic accountants, engineers, quantity surveyors and attorneys with whom we have a long developed relationship.
