Amanda Morales Clarke

Dr. Amanda Morales Clarke earned her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a variety of concerns, including behavioral problems, anxiety and mood disorders. She also has a special interest in working with youth who have experienced trauma and has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as Game-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT). Dr. Morales predominantly utilizes cognitive behavior therapy techniques to address the needs of her clients and their families. However, she recognizes the individualism and uniqueness that each child, adolescent and family brings and often integrates techniques such as art, play, and a client's own personal interests into treatment.

Brian Eichert

Dr. Eichert earned his Psy.D. in School Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. Dr. Eichert specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a variety of concerns including behavioral problems, anxiety, and mood disorders. He also has expertise working with adults experiencing difficulties with anxiety and depression and has a special interest in training parents to support their children using principles routed in Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Eichert predominantly uses cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to address the needs of his clients and their families. His focus is on helping the individual client or family unit identify ways in which to build upon strengths to improve overall quality of life.

Cheryl Nelson

Cheryl Nelson is our Office Manager, ensuring the smooth running of our practice's office, and contributing to driving sustainable growth. In addition to working at Somerset Psychological Group, Ms. Nelson works for Bernard V. Navatto, Jr., CPA, preparing individual and corporate tax returns, as well as preforming bookkeeping functions. Prior to working at Somerset Psychological Group, Ms. Nelson was the Office Manager for Associates in Psychological Services, P.A., where she worked for twelve years. Ms. Nelson also worked in the financial services industry, as a manager in investment operations. Ms. Nelson graduated from The State University of New York at Albany, with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Dr. Angélica M. Díaz-Martínez

Dr. Angélica M. Díaz-Martínez earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Psychology (Psy. M.) from Rutgers University's The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). She earned her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology for Spanish - English Bilinguals from Montclair State University. Dr. Diaz-Martinez has extensive clinical and administrative experience across a range of settings. She is a faculty member at Rutgers University and serves on the American Psychological Association's Commission on Accreditation. She is also the Chairperson for the State of New Jersey's Medical Review Panel through the Civil Services Commission. Dr. Díaz-Martínez's primary area of practice at Somerset Psychological Group is conducting mental health assessments for those involved in the legal system.

Dr. Anindita Chaudhuri

Dr. Anindita Chaudhuri earned her Psy.D. in school psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University, specializing in Clinical Child Adolescent Family and Pediatric Psychology and Multicultural Psychology. Dr. Chaudhuri is also a certified school psychologist and has worked with children and adolescents in schools for several years. She has considerable experience working with children, adolescents and adults across multiple settings having obtained master's degrees in both Clinical Child Adolescent Psychology and School Psychology at Montclair State Dr. Chaudhuri has training in psychodynamic, systemic, family, and cognitive behavioral therapies and uses an integrative approach to therapy in order to address the unique needs of her clients and their families. She focuses on finding balance and building on strengths for her clients to improve the quality of their lives.

Dr. Erica Lee

Dr. Erica Lee earned her Psy.D. in school psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She has experience working with school aged children as a school psychologist and obtained her M.A. in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at Montclair State University. Dr. Lee specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced trauma. She also has experience working with children who present with both internalizing and externalizing issues including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, depression, and anxiety. Dr. Lee primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy methods. She has been extensively trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency treatment framework, and Game-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT). Dr. Lee uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and personalized techniques to cater to unique lives of her clients. She brings in aspects of play therapy in addition to more static techniques to individualize therapy and keep children's interest. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family and dog and playing softball, kickball, and basketball.

Dr. Peter DeNigris

In addition, Dr. DeNigris is a member of the Medical Staff at Morristown Medical Center. When not engaged in clinical service, Dr. DeNigris serves as Past President of the New Jersey Psychological Association and as Past President of the Alumni Organization at the Graduate School of Applied & Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. He was named the 2023 Psychologist of the Year by the New Jersey Psychological Association.

Dr. Sean P. Hiscox

Dr. Sean P. Hiscox specializes in forensic psychology and is a managing partner at Somerset Psychological Group. He conducts forensic evaluations, provides testimony, and over his career has served as a consultant in a range of criminal areas for juveniles and adults. He is currently focusing on sex offender assessment and treatment, transfer to criminal court, and risk of violence. In civil areas, he performs personal injury evaluations in a variety of areas. In addition, he maintains a small general psychotherapy practice that includes individuals struggling with sexual behavior problems, anxiety and mood disorders, and various adjustment-related problems. He also provides supervision for psychologists working toward state licensure. Dr. Hiscox is a Fellow of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). He is also a Past-President of the New Jersey Chapter of ATSA and also served as a board member for many years. Dr. Hiscox, along with Dr. Witt, helped develop the Juvenile Risk Assessment Scale (JRAS), which is the standard evaluation method to place juveniles in risk tiers in accord with Megan's Law. Prior to joining SPG, Dr. Hiscox was a managing partner at Associates in Psychological Services, P.A., where he worked for 15 years.

Mark Frank

Mark Frank, Ph.D. began practicing clinical and forensic psychology in 1978. For forty years, he conducted forensic evaluations at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Avenel, N.J. He is a founding member of the New Jersey chapter of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (NJ-ATSA), and served as a member of the board of that organization for several years. He also served on the Steering Committee of the New Jersey Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists (NJ-ACT). Dr. Frank is a past president and former chair of the ethics committee of the Richmond County Psychological Association in Staten Island, New York, where he practiced clinical and forensic psychology for 36 years. He also served as an adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology at Long Island University, and has been qualified as a psychologist to provide expert testimony in every county in New Jersey. With his colleague, Dr. Philip Witt, he co-authored several articles focused on evaluating sex offenders under the New Jersey Sex Offender Act, and co-led sex offender treatment groups with Dr. Witt at Associates for Psychological Services for many years.

Melissa Arce

Dr. Melissa Arce earned her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from William James College in Newton, MA. Dr. Arce specializes in working with adults and older adolescents experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety and mood disorders. She also has experience in work related to adjusting to life transitions, managing stress, and exploring identity.

Philip H. Witt

Dr. Philip Witt specializes in forensic psychology - that is, psychology as applied to legal cases. For many years, he was a managing partner at Associates in Psychological Services, P.A., and he currently conducts his forensic psychology practice through Somerset Psychological Group, P.A. He is board certified in forensic psychology by the American Board of Forensic Psychology, where he previously served on the examination panel. He performs forensic evaluations, testimony, and consultation in a wide range of civil and criminal areas, particularly sex offender assessment. He serves on the clinical faculty of Rutgers Medical School. A past president of the New Jersey Psychological Association, he was the 2001 recipient of that organization's Psychologist of the Year award. He is Past President of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology. When not practicing forensic psychology, he is an avid bicyclist, nature photographer, and birder.

Zachary Yeoman

Dr. Yeoman graduated from Skidmore College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He obtained his masters and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a forensic concentration from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2012. Dr. Yeoman is a clinical and forensic psychologist who is licensed in New Jersey and New York. His main area of interest is Forensic Mental Health Assessment (FMHA). Dr. Yeoman has provided help to a variety of organizations and individuals in addressing psycholegal issues for both adults and adolescents. His professional experience includes the treatment and evaluation of civilly committed sex offenders. In his private practice, he conducts the following types of assessments: sexual, violence, and firesetting risk, animal abuse, diminished capacity, mitigation, competence to stand trial, and parental fitness and bonding, and non-forensic mental health evaluations. In the past, Dr. Yeoman provided outpatient treatment related to sexual offending, firesetting, and substance abuse for court-involved juveniles and adults. He was an adjunct professor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology - Yeshiva University, where he taught integrative assessment, and he volunteered as a visiting clinical supervisor for Rutgers graduate students in psychology. Prior to these experiences, Dr. Yeoman worked extensively with the Serious Mental Illness (SMI) population in both Illinois and New Jersey. Through these experiences he has developed expertise in addressing a variety of questions which arise when the law and mental health intersect.
