Windy is a native Nashvillian connected deeply to her community both professionally and personally. She spent 8 years serving in the library system of Nashville Public Schools at both middle and high schools. She hosted book clubs, led the middle school team as co-coach to Battle of the Books Championship in 2018, and took great pride in finding every kid's "hook book" that would keep them reading for a lifetime. Windy also found success writing and administering a literary grant for a historically underestimated community and still spends time carefully curating the little free library outside her house that brings readers of all ages from throughout Nashville. Windy is a QuickBooks professional and has maintained books for a broad variety of industries including retail, lawn care, construction, multi-media, and non-profits. She is detail oriented and dedicated to accuracy. Windy is proficient in QuickBooks online, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft teams, zoom, and Google docs.
