TOM SHERRIN

Since her launch in October 1970, Tom Sherrin has served the Port of Poole and later Alderney before returning home for retirement with the Maritime Volunteer Service... When she returned to Poole, and was chartered to the MVS, Tom Sherrin became eligible to fly the MVS Defaced Ensign. It is not known how many vessels have qualified to sail under two different Defaced Ensigns, but undoubtedly there are very few if any other boats to have enjoyed such a rare privilege.
