UW READI LAB

The UW READi Lab, formerly the Stone Lab, was founded in 2010 by Dr. Wendy Stone, with a focus on conducting research related to early identification and intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). UW READi Lab projects have ranged from longitudinal studies of young infants at elevated risk for ASD, to community-based training in ASD screening and intervention for birth-to-three providers... We are a busy research lab, involved in several projects designed to identify, understand, and treat children with ASD, and dedicated to bringing cutting-edge research findings and knowledge to families and community providers throughout the state. We are committed to translational science, and work to enhance knowledge and service capacity within community settings through training and outreach activities for families, pediatricians, teachers, and other community professionals. We offer periodic training workshops on the use of the Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers (STAT)..
