URBAN REALTY GROUP - Key Persons

Chris Meger

Job Titles:
  • Broker / REALTOR®
Chris Meger has always been drawn to new adventures. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, he has an amazing lifestyle in the Yukon with such easy access to world class hiking, fishing, skiing, and exploration possibilities. He says there is a pristine wilderness literally at the back door, so anyone who loves the great outdoors will be amazed at the accessibility available in the region. He believes that having access to the best information leads to making the best choices. As a REALTOR®, he's enthusiastic about making that information accessible and getting his clients the best possible exposure for their listings, well beyond the usual MLS®System approach. Before working in real estate, his first job as a hunting and fishing guide helped him fuel his passion and made him realize his professional goal: helping people access the opportunities that make them feel fulfilled. Another job took him to some of the most inhospitable places on earth, a journey in which he also found one of the most hospitable places: Whitehorse.

Dana Klock

Job Titles:
  • Associate Broker / REALTOR®
Dana Klock worked with Scotiabank for 10 years, has a background in finance, and an outgoing personality. As a REALTOR®, her background in mortgages is a helpful resource for her clients. She aims to always facilitate a smooth transaction that provides satisfaction for both the buyer and seller. She started selling real estate in 2008 and feels like it's one of the best choices she's ever made. She instantly fell in love with everything Whitehorse has to offer: natural beauty, year round family recreational opportunities, and a relaxed lifestyle that's hardly found in a city. According to Dana, a strong sense of community is one of the most valuable qualities about Whitehorse; the community really pulls together to support each other when people go through a personal crisis. "Once you experience that kind of genuine caring," she says, "it's hard to imagine raising a family anywhere else."

Dave Pearson

Dave Pearson is a long-standing Yukon resident with more than 30 years in business management/ownership in several different business sectors and a knack for interpersonal skills. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing and significant experience in the local business community, which is especially valuable for the business of real estate. As a REALTOR®, he really loves the challenge of matching people's different preferences and requirements with properties that are available in the area and enjoys knowing that by helping people to find a home in the Yukon, he's facilitating what will most likely be a very positive experience for them. Even if they decide not to stay for a lifetime, the years they spend in the North will be a very rich part of their personal experience. Dave really cares about his clients and makes them feel as if they are working with a friend who understands the North and has their best interests in mind. He believes the people in the North are Whitehorse's most valuable resource, describing them as happy, positive, incredibly welcoming, very aware, resilient, and genuinely interested in introducing new people to the community. Dave believes there is literally something for everyone in Whitehorse. He mentions people are often surprised at how much easier it is to find a work/life balance when you remove the daily commuting that is so typical in other cities. "It's only a 2 hour flight to 3 major cities in Western Canada, so you can really experience the best of both worlds," he says.
