Jennifer Schook has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 2014 as a purchasing coordinator/accounting specialist. Ms. Schook is very optimistic toward her new role. "I attended IUS where I earned my B.A. in English and Journalism, and my Masters in education/counseling. I'm so happy to make this career transition to do my best at West Washington as a counselor. What I love most about education is that it can open doors for every student to be successful if they are willing to put in the hard work and dedication towards their education. There are no boundaries for any student who follows this philosophy no matter what socio-economic status they may be in," stated Ms. Schook.
Ms. Schook has a strong sense of family and is proud of her loved ones. "I live in New Albany with my partner Alfonso. I have two children Lexie, 30, she attended USI and earned a B.S. in art. She is married and lives in Evansville, IN. and is a scribe for an orthopedic clinic. My son Hayden is 26. He attended college at ISU and earned his B.S. in biology, then Bellarmine for his BSN, and just started at Murray State Anesthesia CRNA doctorate program."
Ms. Schook's favorite things include spending time with family and her cats Sugar and Blanca, thrifting, photography, shopping, cooking, and helping others.
Ms. Schook is in the counseling office Monday-Friday from 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM. Please feel free to reach out to her with any concerns about educational, emotional, or social needs.

Coach Long's comments on Riley and her teammate Elliot Nance recently signing to play softball at the college level: "The very quiet Riley has always let her game speak for itself. She has put in hours on hours to get where she is now. Elliot has set records in the conference with her pitching ability. She also has put in the time to be in the position she is now to play at the next level. Both girls are fierce competitors, great teammates and very coachable. They both are following in the footsteps of former players and are opening doors for future players for our program. And we have a whole season with them still to play as Senators!" - West Washington Head Softball Coach, Chris Long
