Terry M. Lewis started Lewis Seal & Consulting, Limited in 2001 as a sales rep agency, focused primarily on engineered polymer (PTFE) seals and components, manufactured by Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (formerly The Furon Company). His decision to leave 30 years of "Corporate America" (after managing two major seal companies), was based on his passion for getting back to the roots of his success, which was in front of the customer and solving seal problems. In 2004, he was joined by Ken Reinert, a key member of Terry's previous management staff, who brought over 25 years of additional seal experience to the business.
Recognizing the need for a strong seal distribution presence in the Midwest, Windy City Seals, Inc. was added as a distributor extension of Lewis Seal & Consulting. Our years of management experience in operations, enable us to understand the commercial "wants and needs" of our customers, which truly compliments our engineering and manufacturing knowledge in a way that no other seal distributor or sales representative agency can.
