HEPATOLOGY

Established in 1994, we are an experienced group of Consultant Gastroenterologists with extensive subspecialty expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver disorders... We individually hold appointments within public hospitals and academic posts at the University of Auckland. We are also actively involved in organisations from the wider medical community and play a significant role in the development of and provision of Gastroenterology and Hepatology services within New Zealand... We have and continue to contribute to the NZ Society of Gastroenterology serving on the Executive committee. In addition, we play a senior role in the training of NZ Gastroenterologists and serve in the Royal College of Physicians as members of the conjoint committee for the accreditation of Endoscopy training. Collectively with over 200 publications here and abroad, we are actively involved in research projects in association with University and Government departments.
