Jane Breaden

Jane leads provision of a range of internal services including people management, health and safety, board secretariat, legal services, internal audit, corporate communications and quality, risk and compliance management. With over 25 years' experience in public and private sector organisations, Jane spent the last 10 years in energy and water utilities. She has extensive experience in leading multi-disciplinary functions and in strategy development, governance and assurance. Jane's qualifications include a Bachelor of Business, a Master of Management Studies in Project Management and a Master of Science (Operations Research and Statistics). More recently she has completed post graduate studies in professional writing and organisational coaching.

John Knox - CEO

John commenced as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Icon Water (2014-2018) and during this time held roles on the ActewAGL Joint Venture Board, Icon Water Board and was Deputy Chair of the Water Services Association of Australia. John has an extensive background in private-sector commercial management. He held the role of Chief Financial Officer at ActewAGL from 2007-2014 and has spent more than fifteen years serving the Canberra community through his work in the utilities sector. John is a Fellow of CPA Australia, has a Bachelor of Financial Administration, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Megan Willcox

As General Manager Economic Regulation, Megan is responsible for economic regulation and compliance functions, including conducting major price reviews, setting out regulated network prices, economic analysis and investment reviews, and regulatory and pricing services. Megan has extensive experience in regulatory economics within the energy industry in Australia, as well as the resources sector in New Zealand. She has expertise in leading expenditure and revenue proposal projects for major electricity distribution networks, and in developing and advocating business positions on regulatory matters. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics and Statistics and has completed a Master of Science in Development Economics at Oxford University.

Rachael Turner

As General Manager Retail, Rachael is responsible for developing retail energy markets, customer acquisition strategies, sales and marketing, wholesale activities and retail regulation. Rachael has over seventeen years' experience with ActewAGL and has held a number of senior, strategic roles across the business. She has broad experience in a range of areas including customer relations, wholesale energy settlements, retail regulation, product development and marketing. Rachael has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and holds a number of business and psychology qualifications, including an MBA from Charles Sturt University. Most recently, Rachael completed sustainability studies through the University of Tasmania.

Sam Sachse - CFO

As Chief Financial Officer, Sam is responsible for the overall financial management of the business, including procurement and facilities. Sam has extensive accounting and commercial experience in the water and energy sectors and holds a Master of Applied Finance and Bachelor of Accountancy. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Stephen Glowrey - CIO

As Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer, Stephen leads the Technology Division and has responsibility for all activities related to the management and governance of Information and Digital technology. Stephen has extensive experience working with technology teams in both government and private sector organisations, with a strong focus on utilities. He has expertise in technology assurance and business transformation as well as deep understanding of commercial risk and performance in the utilities sector. Prior to taking on the role of CIO and CISO, Stephen was ICT Assurance Manager within ActewAGL. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Australian National University and is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
