Heritage Insurance Group began operations in 1909 under the name Erwin Insurance with a small office in Erwin, Tennessee. Since that time, we have merged with or acquired several insurance agencies in the Tri-Cities area. We incorporated in 1997 and changed our name to Heritage Insurance Group, Inc. We now have office locations in Johnson City and Kingsport and are one of the largest insurance agencies in Tennessee.
