James grew up on a farm in the New Forest. He has now returned to the farm and assists with its daily running. He has since completed a 30 year career with the police and other law enforcement agencies. Throughout he has always had a love of the countryside. This has included a passion for catching moles either on farms or garden lawns, working his Labrador Retrievers on local shoots, working and showing a varying number of his children's pet ferrets, and many other pursuits linked to the wellbeing and upkeep of our countryside...
