Peter Williamson

Peter Williamson is a serving soldier in the British Army having joined as a boy soldier and has served in Northern Island, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan and has been promoted through the ranks to the rank of 2nd class officer BSM Royal Artillery. Peters role will be dealing with logistics and day to day running of our company.

Simon Thorpe

Simon Thorpe started out in the carpet industry as a Saturday boy at a retail store in south east London and on leaving school became a fitters apprentice and for over 15 years gained a vast range of experience in fitting floor-coverings all over the UK and in Europe and in the far east. Simon went on to work in both the domestic and commercial sides of the business to join Cavalier Carpet Manufacturers gaining a working knowledge in all aspects of the manufacturing process including the cleaning of wool yarns before the wool can be dyed and was also trained to NCCA STANDARDS in spot and stain removal and carpet and upholstery cleaning. Simons role at Cavalier was a diverse role dealing with insurance claims validating and implementing a course of action which first and foremost was to establish If the item effected could be restored to its pre condition ,by using the following course of actions , cleaning ,stain removal, re dying of bleached fibres or re tufting of the carpet where damaged tufts are extracted and donor fibres from an off cut or from the carpet edge are inserted which are adhered and or stitched in ,also carpets were patched repaired and rooms were blend cleaned, Whilst at Cavalier Simon also carried out inspections on behalf of carpet manufacturers and also carried out cleaning and stain removal of soft furnishings after the client had purchased a stain warranty with the item.
