Ahona obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. She also earned a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, Alabama USA . She started her PhD at UConn in Spring 2024 in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Dr. Aziz received his MS degree in Applied Mechanics from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2011. He received his Doctoral degree in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. His Doctoral research was focused on interfacial fluid mechanics. He joined Prof. Chaudhuri's lab in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Postdoctoral researcher. His current research is focused on the coupling of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Discrete Element Method for modeling of multicomponent-multiphase flow.

Dr. Ahsan received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2011. He received his Master's and Doctoral degrees in ME from University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He joined Professor Chaudhuri's lab in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a postdoctoral researcher. His current research is focused on the implementation of coupled Computational Fluid Dynamics and Discrete Element Method modeling of multicomponent-multiphase flow.

Dr. Sharifi holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Islamic Azad University of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. Her doctoral research was centered around the "Preparation and Evaluation of Insulin Nanoparticles" with a specific focus on using cationic Beta-cyclodextrin and chitosan derivatives to improve the oral delivery of insulin.After completing her academic journey, she gained valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, accumulating seven years of diverse roles, including Research and Development (R&D) expertise and Quality management.Her passion for research led her to join Professor Chaudhuri's lab within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a PhD student. Her current research is dedicated to the complex domain of "Molecular Modeling of AAV Capsid-Capsid Interaction." In this cutting-edge field, she investigates how various factors, such as salt concentrations, surfactants, and shear stress, influence AAV capsid interactions.

After that, He started his MS in Chemical and biomolecular engineering at UConn and after he finished his MS , He joined the department of pharmaceutical science in School of Pharmacy for his PhD in fall 2023.
Tanu obtained her bachelors and masters in pharmacy degree from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Delhi University, India. She came to UConn as a graduate student in Fall 2018 in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research focuses on the mitigation of charge in pharmaceutical powders.
