Kenneth Carpenter started the MLK Jr. Scholarship during his tenture with Southwest Community College. Carpenter met with one of his student recipients Hannah Tanous. She is currently enrolled in Southwest's Radiology Program with a 4.0 GPA. He continues to support the scholarship with additional support from Carpenter Primary Healthcare, PLLC.
