In SocialDiabetes, our goal from the very beginning has been making profit of technology to give everyone the necessary knowledge to be empowered an take control of their diabetes... «Working with type 1 diabetes athletes, we need reliable blood sugar level readings frequently in order to establish flexible insulin patterns adapted to each athlete's activity. The athlete uses the app to register blood sugar levels the medical team uses the platform to correlate that information with different events such as carb intake, physical activity, etc. SocialDiabetes allows to access blood sugar levels in real time, so we are able to adjust the insulin regime or food provision during the competition..
