Home Base Ranch was founded in 2011 and granted 501(c)(3) status in 2014. Home Base Ranch is a four-acre ranch in East San Diego County. We care for six aging horses rescued from sub-par situations that help us connect with the at-risk young people we serve... Home Base Ranch is 501c3 non-profit sanctuary for young people 8 -14 years old who may be in the grips of psychological or emotional challenges. Our goal is to provide the highest level of services regardless of the family's ability to pay. Home Base Ranch is a 4-acre facility nestled in the hills of Lakeside, CA that is dedicated to helping youth of all genders overcome challenges, discover their strengths to create happy, meaningful and purposeful lives... Our philosophy stems from a belief that human beings resist change unless they are challenged to move beyond their "comfort zone". Home Base Ranch provides a safe environment where young people are able to affect long-lasting change by learning and practicing new behaviors...
