While in law school, she gained diverse courtroom experience by serving as a student attorney ad litem in the Children's Rights Clinic for three semesters, interning for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas for a year, and interning for a personal injury firm for a summer. She was also an Executive Editor of the American Journal of Criminal Law, participated in mock trial, and contributed her time to several pro bono projects.

Gail M. Brownfeld

Since 1985, Gail has been defending her clients' rights in state court, federal court, and in domestic and international arbitration tribunals. She has represented publicly held companies, private companies, and individuals, providing them with legal advice and representation through all stages of the dispute process. Gail's experience as both in-house and outside counsel has provided her with the unique ability to weigh the costs and benefits of proceeding with litigation or arbitration so clients can be well prepared and use their resources effectively. Her current practice focuses on commercial and business disputes including contract, Deceptive Trade Practice Act, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secret misappropriation, real estate, construction, employment, insurance coverage, fraud, and oil and gas disputes.

John Roberson

John Roberson has practiced as a civil litigation attorney for the last 30 years and has specialized in civil appellate law for the last 20 years. He has considerable experience handling complex matters before state appellate courts, including the Texas Supreme Court, and various federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. He has provided instruction to other lawyers on the subjects of class actions, civil procedure, and evidence. He has been recognized annually as a "Super Lawyer" in Appellate Law by Texas Monthly magazine since 2003.

Rusty Woolley

Rusty Woolley has been a partner at MRW since 2012 and has been practicing law since 2003. Rusty's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in state and federal court with a particular focus on disputes in the bankruptcy context. He is worked on a wide variety of commercial matters, including construction, real estate, oil and gas, and financial industries. Prior to joining MRW, Rusty was a senior associate in the bankruptcy and commercial litigation sections at Porter Hedges, LLP. During that time, his practice focused on the litigation aspects of bankruptcy involving claims ranging from chapter 5 causes of action to director and officer litigation. In particular, Rusty was part of the team that represented the former directors and officers of Lyondell Chemical Company related to its $20 billion merger with Basell Chemical Co. Since Rusty joined MRW, his focus has continued to be on bankruptcy litigation. He has represented almost all of the chapter 7 trustees in the Southern District of Texas and chapter 7 trustees in the Eastern and Western District of Texas in a variety of disputes. He has also represented multiple post-confirmation trustees in all types of litigation.

Timothy M. McCloskey

Tim McCloskey has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years. He has represented clients, as plaintiffs and defendants, in complex litigation in State and Federal Courts, not only across Texas, but throughout the country. He has also handled a number of arbitrations and appeals. He has significant experience in disputes concerning business torts, commercial transactions, officer and director liability, bankruptcy litigation, and significant personal injury claims. In addition, he practices extensively in the arbitration process both domestically and internationally. Tim thinks creatively and never loses sight of crafting the best case to present to the trier of fact. Tim especially enjoys his time in the courtroom and in front of the jury.
