Philip Wrona

Philip Wrona provides support for the ASI Security's Executive Team. He manages all aspects of the security process, work with various stakeholder to implement corrective action and process changes and participate in compliance monitoring activities. He plays a key role in conducting complex bids and site surveys and ensure that compliance concerns raised by employees, suppliers and other third-parties are promptly and thoroughly investigated and appropriately addressed. Philip Wrona has been actively involved in the federal law enforcement and investigative field for over 39 years. Prior to joining ASI Secuirty Chicago, Philip Wrona served in Afghanistan as a Senior Special Agent in the Investigations Directorate, Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). The Directorate's mission is to prevent and detect waste, fraud, and abuse through criminal prosecution, civil actions, forfeitures and monetary recoveries. SIGAR's Special Agents have statutory general criminal code authority and investigate crimes involving federal procurement fraud, contract fraud, theft, corruption, bribery of government employees and public officials, and a variety of civil matters pertaining to waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars. Philip Wrona was embedded with the U.S. Army where he had oversight of 34 LEPs in Iraq. His team identified, investigated and suppressed complex and networked criminal enterprises. Developed and executed operational plan for large geographic area. Prioritized and monitored work, developed and coordinated security initiatives, connected activities to success metrics and created assessments for defense and civilian intelligence organizations. Philip Wrona was a Supervisory Criminal Investigator with the U.S. Department of Justice where he managed security, internal/external investigations and Homeland Security initiatives to prevent, respond and recover from terrorist activities. He coordinated initiatives for critical incident response between other government agencies and private sector and executed duties through interpretations of a broad range of laws, rules and regulations Philip Wrona is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), through the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). Throughout the world, the Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) designation is acknowledged as the security profession's highest recognition of practitioners. It is evidence that an individual is "Board Certified in Security Management." The CPP® is awarded based upon experience, education, and of an examination that provides an objective measure of an individual's broad-based knowledge and competency in security management. Ongoing professional development is required in order to maintain the credential. Rudy Medrano

Since joining ASI Security Chicago in 2015, Rudy Medrano has been at the heart of the firm's growth. As a member of ASI Security Chicago's Executive Team, he worked closely with other executive managers to build a quality company with individuals who effectively balance customer satisfaction with business goals, by effectively recruiting, developing, motivating, and managing. Rudy Medrano has been actively involved in the federal law enforcement and security field for over 30 years. As a former Department of Homeland Security/ICE Senior Special Agent he has ran numerous federal investigations into violations of federal laws with both Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs Service. He also was a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service prior to its merger into Homeland Security. At Customs he worked with the FBI and DEA on international Cargo Theft Task Forces and Narcotics Interdiction; acquiring specialized skills in air/ship cargo container thefts and internal smuggling conspiracies. Rudy Medrano has participated in high-profile federal narcotics investigations in both the United States and abroad. In that capacity, He has received extensive undercover, fraud, and firearms and dignitary protection training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and many state and local agencies. He has been certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International. Education: American Military University, Security Management, St Charles Town, WV Depaul University, Psychology, Chicago, IL, In addition to his certification as a CPP, Mr. Medrano has also completed an undergraduate certificate in Security Management with the American Military University, and is Board Certified in Homeland Security with the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security (ABCHS). He is also a Licensed Private Security Contractor in Illinois.
