The MISSION of The JOSEPH ROBERT SHAW FOUNDATION, INC. (doing business as "Joey's Foundation") is to provide financial support to individuals, organizations or other entities engaged in research, innovation and education related to children with brain injury: their rehabilitation, recovery and activities of daily living... To accomplish our mission, representatives of Joey's Foundation are working with leaders in pediatric medicine, brain research, information technology, engineering, biomedicine, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, music therapy, special education and other disciplines in an effort to integrate knowledge and experience. We are in the process of creating a national user group, collecting data, publishing blogs, completing case studies and evaluating equipment innovation and needs...
