North Island Community Services Society (NICSS) is a nonprofit agency, established in 1978. We are a CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited agency, as of 2017, maintaining a minimum standard of excellence in quality services for the people of the north island. NICSS provides a variety of community services to the communities in the Mount Waddington Region, including but not limited to Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Alert Bay, Sointula, Coal Harbour, Fort Rupert and Quatsino... We are a CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) -accredited non-profit organization, measured against over 1700 industry standards, to ensure that we deliver a gold standard of service.
