Athanasios E. Agelakopoulos is an attorney at law and Of Counsel to the Firm. Prior to joining Schwartz Law, Athanasios concentrated the majority of his practice on commercial bankruptcy matters and insolvency-related litigation, and spent significant periods of time practicing in both the public and private sectors.
During his time in the private sector, Athanasios's practice ranged from representing business and commercial debtors in some of the largest and most sophisticated chapter 11 cases filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, to the representation of official committees of unsecured creditors, bankruptcy trustees, and creditors in multiple venues throughout the United States.
Athanasios also spent over seven years as a trial attorney in the Las Vegas Field Office of the United States Trustee Program (the "USTP"), with his tenure largely overlapping the period of the Great Recession in the United States and, more specifically, the Las Vegas Valley. At peak levels, Athanasios was tasked with responsibility for approximately two-thirds of the "Mega Chapter 11 Cases" filed in the District of Nevada, and his first-chair trial experience spanned all manners of contested matters and adversary proceedings initiated under chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Athanasios's litigation efforts with the USTP in several instances resulted in coverage by local and national media, including Law 360
Athanasios is admitted to the bars of the States of Nevada (2017), Georgia (2007), and Delaware (2004), the United States District Courts for the Districts of Delaware and Nevada, and the United States Court of Appeals to the Ninth Circuit.
Bryan A. Lindsey's practice covers a wide range of business and real estate transactions, including real estate and development, mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation and governance, commercial leasing, financing transactions and legal opinions. Mr. Lindsey also represents clients in matters related to individual and corporate bankruptcies, restructurings, and commercial and real estate litigation. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Lindsey worked in the internal accounting department of a Fortune 500 Company.
While in law school, Mr. Lindsey earned five CALI awards and served as a Nevada law editor for the Nevada Law Journal. Mr. Lindsey holds a Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Utah. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Nevada and is a member of the American Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association and the State Bar of Nevada.

Emily earned her J.D., in 2015, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. Upon completion of her J.D., Emily served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nancy L. Allf of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. Emily focuses her practice on commercial and business litigation, general corporate matters, bankruptcy and restructuring, as well as defending medical providers against allegations of medical malpractice. Emily is admitted to practice in Nevada.

Gabrielle A. Hamm is Of Counsel to the Firm. Prior to joining Schwartz Law, Gabby concentrated the majority of her practice on commercial restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency-related litigation. She represented business debtors, creditors, trustees, and official and ad hoc committees of creditors in some of the largest chapter 11 cases filed in the District of Nevada and other venues throughout the United States.

Mr Thomas focuses his practice on commercial litigation and has extensive experience in insurance matters, government/public official/municipal liability defense and complex personal injury cases. He has served as a court-appointed ADR panelist for multiple trial courts and on a civil mediation roster of court-approved mediators. He previously served as court-appointed counsel for alleged mentally ill individuals in involuntary hospitalization proceedings. Prior to relocating to Las Vegas and joining Schwartz Law, Mr. Thomas worked as a civil litigator in the state and federal courts of Michigan for over fourteen years.

Michael L. Sturm has over 11 years of experience working as a paralegal on civil litigation and bankruptcy matters in state and federal district and appellate courts within the jurisdictions of Nevada, California, and Arizona. Mr. Sturm's work primarily focuses on creditors' rights (including collections and replevins) and the rights of third-party purchasers in homeowner association foreclosures. He also worked on personal injury, probate, and criminal matters. His knowledge of the rules of procedure and local court rules, extreme attention to detail, and ability to maximize his time are invaluable to the firm and its clients.

Mr. Schwartz is an attorney at law. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Schwartz practiced commercial bankruptcy law, representing debtors and creditors on a broad range of business reorganization and restructuring matters involving a variety of industries.
Specifically, Mr. Schwartz represented numerous clients in chapter 11-related matters and now represents both debtors and creditors in all forms of restructuring, bankruptcy and workouts. In addition to handling all aspects of bankruptcy and restructuring workouts, Mr. Schwartz worked on corporate matters, specifically acquisitions, mergers, and general corporate representation. Mr. Schwartz also handles all aspects of real estate transactions.
Mr. Schwartz is a licensed real estate broker in the States of Florida and Nevada.
Mr. Cane earned his LL.M. in 2019 from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law where he focused on business law and securities regulation. Upon completion of his LL.M, Mr. Cane served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph S. Sciscento at the Las Vegas Justice Court. Stephen focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation, general corporate matters, bankruptcy and restructuring.
