SEFW is committed to providing educational opportunities to inform professionals, students, and the general public about structural engineering. SEFW is always looking for opportunities to promote structural engineering through exciting ventures... SEFW is forging relationships with schools and organizations that bring structural engineering into the community. We fund and facilitate construction site field trips for students, popsicle stick bridge building competitions, mentoring opportunities, and more... SEFW provides grants for research initiatives, collects funding for the SEAW Disaster Preparedness Response program, and is formulating a grant program for graduate student research projects at Washington universities.
