For Orona, there was never any question that he was going to follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps. When he graduated from high school in 1990, he obtained his GB98 (a general contractor's license). At 17 years old, he was one of the youngest in New Mexico to do so. "I love what I do," says Orona. "I always have."
