Mr Chung is able to provide safe and considered care in all aspects of general neurosurgery and in particular he has a special interest in neurovascular diseases (aneurysms, AVMs, fistulae, cavernoma, mechanical thrombectomy, trigeminal neuralgia). Mr Chung has acquired significant expertise in the field of neurovascular disease with dual-training in conventional micro-neurosurgery (clipping of aneurysms) and minimally-invasive percutaneous endovascular techniques (coiling of aneurysms). This comprehensive approach is unique in Victoria and patients benefit from an unbiased contemporary approach to the treatment for brain aneurysms, AVMs and fistulae. Mr Chung's expertise was recognised with an invitation to moderate cerebral aneurysms research presentations in the World Neurosurgery Congress, and with national and international peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals.
