Dr. Edward Chang

Job Titles:
  • Staff Member
For over 25 years, Dr. Edward Chang has taken pride in offering caring and high-quality care to his patients, and has earned a reputation as a highly-respected dentist in return. In fact, some of his long-term patients have followed him from his practice in Hong Kong in the 1980s. Dr. Chang practices general dentistry but particularly enjoys endodontics. Dr. Chang is a graduate of the University of the Philippines where he obtained his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) and practiced in Hong Kong for three years before moving to Canada in 1992. Dr. Chang has been on several humanitarian missions to China to provide dental care for people in rural communities. When not busy with his patients, Dr. Chang is active in his church community and enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially when he can spoil them with his trademark hospitality and gourmet cooking! A member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Alberta Dental Association, Dr. Chang is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Dr. Kincaid Chan

Dr. Chan once aspired to be a large animal veterinarian, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Calgary. However, after a near-asthma attack at the horse races one summer ended his veterinarian pursuits, he moved to Halifax to complete a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolution from Dalhousie University. After realizing the number of post-doctoral applicants far outweighed the number of available positions in evolutionary ecology, he turned to dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. This turned out to be the best decision of his life, and Dr. Chan loves coming to work each day to care for his patients. When he's not treating patients, Dr. Chan is an avid road cyclist, a musician/composer, and a dedicated family man.

He then began practicing general dentistry in Calgary. Dr. Boruah is a fellow AACP and associate member of the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), as well as a member of the IDRG and a senior instructor with the IAO. Dr. Boruah has published papers and lectured on a variety of topics including orthodontics and sleep medicine. Dr. Boruah has offered orthodontic treatment since 1995 and both TMD therapy and sleep medicine solutions for several years. Dr. Boruah completed a mini-residency in craniofacial pain with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain to learn different diagnostics and treatments for TMD and headaches.
